Red Dead Redemption - Official PC Release Date Reveal Trailer

For the first time in its storied legacy, John Marston’s beloved journey can be experienced on PC in stunning, new detail, with both Red Dead Redemption and its iconic zombie-horror companion story, Undead Nightmare, arriving to PC on October 29.
In collaboration with Double Eleven, this new version adds PC-specific enhancements including native 4K resolution at up to 144hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality.
There’s also support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.

If this PC port is as polished as the PS4 and Switch ports, then we're golden. A remaster would have been nice, but given Rockstar's track record with remasters, a direct, but functional port is more than acceptable imo.

The fact that we have RDR2 .... and they can't simply redo RDR story in it to make it essentially into a remake is baffling.... We already basically have most of the map only needs to be changed... Also the character models....R* being lazy as usual....

Finally, I played the base game but missed on undead nightmare back on ps3. Now I can finally experience the game on Steam Deck. RDR2 already runs great on Deck so expecting 60fps on the go.

Such a missed opportunity not to remake rdr1 in rdr2 as a full game addon. They already had the whole map and most of the models. It would have sold like hot cakes. This, I just can't see it doing that well unless it goes on sale for cheap.

The online mode is busted you get stuck in the stables and trying to buy a horse after leaving missions your horse doesn't come to your appear on the screen also freezing after missions not loading back into the world this game needs online fix badly
