Thank you for this extensive comparison. Ryujinx uses less RAM, less VRAM and better utilizes CPU cores, thus providing better performance. Upping RAM frequency up to at least 3600 MHz will let 5600X provide 60+ fps experience. This is a decent result!
I think there are developers out there that still see PC gamers as nothing but a bunch of pirates. And I would hazard to guess that maybe out of spite, someone high up at Rockstar would rather make zero dollars from a RDR PC port than lose one dollar in revenue to piracy.
Take Two likes quick money with no effort, imagine having to fix the issues that would be brought with this to work on the PC, such as the gameplay being tied to framerate (Higher FPS = Quicker Gameplay Events), many visual bugs and adding a shader compiler.
@@JoeyJoJoJoestarJuniorShabadoo The problem with that logic is the fact that the game is still being pirated and emulated on PC right now, while Rockstar gets zero dollars from sales since there's no legal way to play it on PC. Even if a proper PC port gets released and pirated, pirates always make up a minority, so Rockstar would still make millions. They're just too stupid to understand that.
@@mrcooshie8436 Yes, but ever since the Nintendo switch, it has become more playable on PC. And I believe that currently, 70% of people own a mid-budget GPU.
@@itachi7976 when u talk about emu u should throw every information about performance and games the emu depend more on the cpu for example if the man in the video tested it with rtx 4090 , he would got the same fps
i played RDR on Xenia (many graphic bugs, game breaking glitches that need certain workarounds) and after playing it on ryujinx/Yuzu it really feels like it was ported to the PC! at this point i dont care wether rockstar ports the game to the PC or not.
Just one but if I recognized just one was missing I could only imagine how much more is removed, but whenever he is looting someone usually innocent he'd say comments like What can I say partner i'm a bad man" in the port it's just "What can I say partner"@@Timic83tc
i made video how to config xenia-canary to get 60 fps, my spec ryzen 5 + rtx 2060 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mxXo3ElfNp0.htmlsi=dXll-p-UiGamrUO5
There's something wrong with your Xenia test- the game ran similar to this @1440p on my weaker spare PC (4790k+1080Ti+32gb ddr3 @2400mhz) when I played it over a year ago... Are you using the Canary build of Xenia?
Hello, I have a GTX 1050 Ti and an i5 3570 system. How many fps will I get in Ryujinx? I'm getting 45fps in Zelda botw and a steady 30fps in rdr on the ps3 emulator.
I'm not crazy right? The heat haze effect(wobbly image in hot weather) is completely absent on Ryujinx. Not to mention the color tone is completely different from the other two emulators. I mean the performance boost is nice and all but...
The haze effect is present, i just played it today (maybe it was added after an updated IDK). the colour tone looks similar to Yuzu, so the same as the Nintendo switch port. It is indeed a little different compared to the original X360 release but it’s not an issue of the emulator.
RTX3060 12GB I5 12400F 16GB RYUJINX GAVE ME LESS THEN 30FPS AND YUZY WAS MORE STABLE N KEPT ME AT 30FPS.. But how good of a pc is needed to get a stable fps over 45??
probably the same reason as the GTA trilogy compared to the PS2 versions. No one bothered to take mood or lighting into consideration when porting this game.
The devs who ported the game probably weren't fans enough of the game to do a proper comparison between the two versions in order to make sure everything is faithful. There was a similar situation with Halo CE, on PC it had a lot of broken shaders and effects, then 343i decided to do a remaster of Halo CE, but they used the port with the broken shaders as a base because they never cared enough to spot the differences.
Was this done with the original Xenia build? or the "canary" build? because canary runs the game FAR better, as well as lets you use patches to run the game at over 60fps.
@@Morgan-gp3vy2 months ago I had 60 fps in rdr 1 on a yuzu emulator. But now, for some reason, the fps does not exceed 30 even when the fps restriction is disabled, and is often below 30. I want to ask you, where is the FPS more, on Ryujinx or xenia? Because when I tested a couple of months ago, xenia and Ryujinx performed much worse than yuzu.
Any idea why my system can't run this on RyuJinx? I'm pretty sure I got everything set up right by using other guide videos. It's a 7900x / 7900XT system
@@George-um2vc I couldn't get RDR to work properly on RyuJinx and ended up having to use Yuzu. I honestly prefer the GUI of Yuzu and the configuration options.
@@sleazydzx ah ok, there is no fix for that? Your PC is beast, I’m sure you could find a fix my bro, but hey at least Yuzu and Xenia are options, still vastly better than any console port..
This surprised me too but, no theres no stutter what so ever, its buttery smooth especially with 60 fps patch. Its actually insane how well it works (Ryujinx with 3080ti and R9 5950X at 2x IR and FSR)@blimtsk1297
@@arinocity3606Could just be that your CPU is better than mine, but how? With a Ryzen 5 7600, Ryujinx is a stuttery mess for me whenever I enter towns despite holding onto 60 FPS quite well. Yuzu is a lot smoother but dips into the 40's pretty frequently.
