Big thing i dont think you noticed was while your mult was high, your chips were really low. The 50 chips you had on the foil joker was pulling a lot of wight.

I'm coming around to the strategy of using the copying mechanic to produce more of something I want even when in practice the things I'm copying aren't compatible with one another, like if I managed to get a polychrome card and I wanted to put a seal on it, and the only things in my spectral pack are blue seals or purple seals. You want to play polychromes and hold or discard the seals, but I just want more of each thing in general. So if it's a polychrome thing, that is steel, with a purple seal, every bit of which is incompatible with the other, but all are useful on their own, and having more of that rank and suit is good for scoring anyway, I'll still enthusiastically put those enhancements or editions or seals on each other and start copying it. Each thing is useful on its own even if they don't have synergy with one another, copying it still helps my deck, and then once my deck is mostly those things or during the process, I take an additional step to make the card itself work better with my deck, like changing some of those purple seals to blue or red, changing some of them to have lucky enhancement for playing them, some keep their steel enhancement, and so on. It usually only takes one additional change to turn one of those badly synergistic yet powerful cards into something that is quite synergistic, and the deck as a whole really benefits from all the copying with death and fool and cryptid or DNA. It's a lot of power being generated due to the copying and it takes minimal power to slightly mold the individual cards afterward. So I just find myself plopping editions and enhancements and seals onto the same card as much as possible for copying purposes even if the things I'm adding together don't even play well together. The chance at multiplying all those effects at once every time I copy is just too great. It's worked out for me before, I have had a great run recently with a polychrome steel purple seal king I found in a booster pack. It's absurd on the face of it, but that silly card still destroyed the run it was so powerful. Sometimes power is power even if the power is slightly sloppy.

I'm a big fan of using cryptid on a steel queen. I feel it's roughly the same as making steel kings, it's just one away with a strength. Also, I've been trying to get a run going with shoot the moon, the queen joker that is pretty bad, but I feel if my deck was steel queens and I played high card, I could get some utility out of shoot the moon. I know red seal steel kings would be better, but I feel like the extra +13 mult for every queen then also multiplied by a steel and let's say mime would rival the steel kings. And if I managed to pick up Baron well I could start converting with strengths and deaths and fools. Steels are good and faces are good and queens are roughly as good as kings, a tier above jacks due to triboulet. But I've never managed to make enough steel queens even in a run where I do get shoot the moon. It's just a personal goal of mine to have a run where that joker is good. Like, it's good additive mult early in a run where you don't have much in the way of x mult yet, but that early, you're probably not swimming in queens either, and its value drops off once you're playing with things that multiply, especially before the held in hand effects, like with ancient joker and bloodstone and photograph and hanging chad retriggering some glass heart face card, greatly outpacing the value of +13 mult. It's gotta be a high card steel queen run for that thing to work in my opinion, that or perkeo and negative planets, and I've never managed to pull off either thing. It's funny that making shoot the moon good is a bit like going for shoot the moon when playing the card game hearts. It really is a great way to screw oneself unless you pull it off completely.
