Thanks Chael, well this is the reason why I dont get too excited about guys coming out of retirement, guys coming from WWE - we are accustomed to very high level fighters and fighters who are sometimes life long martial artists performing between a bracket of mostly prime years... How do you take other fights seriously, maybe there are some fans who expect some entertainment value. Also depends a lot on the promotion and how the event is promoted.

The thing is if Golden Boy promotions is a success it will be brcause of the pay grade the fighters receive for putting evrything on the line for us the fans. They get a % of the overall take from ticket sales to payper views. The place the UFC is having alot of upset fighters over McGregors payouts for example to other fighters who are just as good in the cage might draw in success.
