Chile is not named cause of this fruit, CHILI is a word from the Nahuatl tongue spoken by the Aztecs my friend, "CHILIS" are native of Mexico , Central and all the way to South America. BTW in South America is called AJI !

North and south America...there is large peppers like pasilla that are between hot and sweet that were bred in the Americas...not Europe

Wild chili in India? That's a bold and absurd claim. Plus he kept referring to the Portuguese instead of referring the locations where the various Chili's from America originate. Saying they come the the country of Chile is wrong. If anything they originated in Archeology 9000 years ago in Bolivia. Wow this video really bothers me because India didn't have the chili before 500 years ago, it's ok, you don't have to make up a false picture just because it's not originally from there. That's just very strange.
