I love that RHCP kept to the times, but never lost THEIR sound. They're still themselves and I respect the hell out of that. It's hard to not sell out in the industry nowadays. Much love, Peppers.
That's what I want more artists to be like. Making new music but keeping their sound. Doesn't matter what year it is, you can tell that the difference but that they're the same. Like, Snow (Hey Oh) is obviously a much older than this song but you can tell that they're from the same band.

This song is SO great. First, the piano sets a moody tone, then the bass just POPS on in to kick ass as usual; then the lyrics SLAY you with their relatable but original take on humanity. In the 90s they killed me in a similar way with Under the Bridge. I’m so glad they are keeping it relevant even now!
This is the only song I've ever listened to that I'm actually compelled to dance to every single time, you can always feel the energy these guys put into their music, literally contagious

I go to School of Rock, yes that’s a real place, well, I’m in the middle group, but the older group is doing Red Hot Chili Peppers this show, and I hear them playing this song, they are so good, and sound so much like the track
Californication came out 20 plus years ago, yet this song can be slipped seamlessly into the album and no one would be the wiser. Even klinghoffer is class act. Stepping into the shoes of a legend like frusciante, hes not only made himself at home but he has taken nothing away from the sound of the peppers. Sorry to see him go, btw.
I'm a Canadian 15 year old listening to this song nonstop for the past week. This song is my dark necessity which is sad because I might never have the chance to see this band live
I'm brazilian, almost 30. Saw then some years ago at Rock in Rio. But man...I waited for so long. I remember until this day when scar tissue video was released and when they released Californicartion. It was + decade when I started listen RHCP waiting a chance to go to a concert. Hope you get the chance to see them!
@@rafaelrp07 that is awesome. I started listening to them about the time when Stadium Arcadium came out (I was 10 years old at the time), and been dreaming of going to their concert. They made a concert in my country when I was only 11 so I wasn't allowed to go, and next year they are coming to Budapest. My time has come 😂✌️
Right on man. The chili peppers are one of the few bands that have stayed true to their sound. These guys have brought me out of a funk so many times it's not even funny.
Stopped listening to them for a while as I kept discovering new music growing up, but my love for them got reignited when I found out they are coming to Europe next year. Their music brought back some really beautiful emotions that were long forgotten, I will love this band forever. God bless and stay safe ✌️

since I was a kid I used to know this band but it didn't matter, I had a brother of mine who only listened to RHCP and I only listened to oasis, today I consider one of the best bands of all time.
I'm a swashbuckling hillbilly from the northern regions of the southern tip of the eastern seaboard driving down the road in a rent a car during a blizzard on the 4th of July on my way to rob a shellmart and I love this song.
