Typical.. .I've seen the Chili's many times. Anthony is a great singer. Very occasionally he is off the mark...but it's rare. In 2019 he was superb, right on point in both concerts I saw him in a week.
@@henri7456 no he doesn't...it's rare for him to sing badly... especially now. He was absolutely spot on on the last two concerts I saw him in. Better than most live acts I've seen
tbh their current setlists are very much made with Anthony’s current vocal in mind. Not saying he’s a bad singer or anything but you can see from tours around the getaway and even the stadium arcadium tour that his own more complex and straining melodies were a struggle.
that song is so brilliant, the bass line, the simplest guitar ever pulling screams from the crowd, the 7/8 compass, chad and mauro, and anthony's singing, everything just great
What an incredibly difficult song to play. 7/8 time must have been a task for all four members. They definitely still got the jam; the ending gave me chills.
John is my reference as a guitarist, I love him. But loving de RHCP, I'm also really happy Josh is here. He's the best man they could possibly find for the job.
E-I-O-I-E-I-A When you give your love away You get a feeling for E-I-O-I-E-I-A Live to love another day Even when you feel unsure More and more I wanna raise Raise my bar and raise your stay E-I-O-I-E-I-A When I lie they're wide awake For my son I make Tell my boy I love him so Tell him so he knows Lost in Ethiopia Walk out in that road E-I-O-I-E-I-A Something good gon' come your way Just look out your door E-I-O-I-E-I-A Tell him what you wanna say No matter whatcha mad at girl Tell my boy I love him so Tell him so he knows Lost in Ethiopia Walk out in that road E-I-O-I-E-I-A Steal my heart to give away Make me wanna say E-I-O-I-E-I-A You and I are so no same More and more and more each day Tell my boy I love him so Tell him so he knows Lost in Ethiopia Walk out in that road
I'm stoked to see so many fans loving on Josh, accepting him. He really is one of the brother's cup, unlike Dave...he tried, it was good but it wasn't right. I miss John, I hope he does great things, but Josh is the element they need right now.
Even though Anthony missed a beat near the start thanks to the 3/4 timing, it's more adorable than infuriating(I'd never imagine him even trying a 3/4 song)..Major props to the peppers.. :)
According to drummer Chad Smith, the band "wrote a lot of songs" during ten months, from October 12, 2009 to August 2010.[18] Smith noted, "every record is a real snapshot of where we're at during that time in our lives as a band and as a people. It's always been that way."[18] Flea stated that the band wrote around 60-70 songs for the new album and writing took around nine months before they entered the studio with Rick Rubin wikipedia.... RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, PLEASE, RELEASE ALL THE SONGS !
A revised image of a former jam- John F and Flea - absolutely AMAZING - never thought that I wud get over John leaving - still love him sooo much but Josh is doin' IT!!!! Hate to admit it but change is always a good thing!! Love them then and LOVE THE NOW!!!!
Josh is fucking awesome. I didn't know what they woud sound like with the new guy. This new album is my favorite and now Josh is my Favorite RHCP guitarist.
HHAH! On the beginning Flea started "Annie wants a baby" and he strummed all the strings when somebody told him they gonna play Ethiopia :DDD I love you man, even I'm str8 as hell!
@leoisforevercool If you are basing that on the intro I how it may look like that but its actually the guy on keyboards doing the little "bleep" riff throughout the song, so when you see Josh dancing about not playing thats the keyboard part :) Hope this helps, the video is also slightly out of sync :)
@CubaKid94 The timing is 7/8, probably means nothing to you but most if not all other rhcp songs are in 4/4 Kiedis obv got lost and sped up to get back in time.
Gawd yes. Dude has the voice of an angel. You should hear him on the album with John. The track that blew my mind and still does is "At Your Enemies" His voice there is chilling and beautiful.
@@paulharrisonadventuregearm5457 No, I meant Josh. While I love Anthony, I would hardly say his voice is angelic. The song I referenced in my previous comment was from an album that John Frusciante and Josh did together.
I may be going mad, but both Flea and Josh are playing left-handed here... I'm sure that's not the usual case. I'm pretty sure it's been filmed normally too. Does anyone have an explanation?
