Does it go from east to west Body free and a body less Come again just to start a fresh Once again to find a home In the moment of the meantime Dropping in coming through the mesh Checking in just to get it blessed Hard to leave when it's picturesque and Find a form that's free to roam Where you come from Where you going Where you come from Where you going Do it all then it all again Make it up and you make a friend Paddle on just around the bend and Find a place where you can see All the mamas and the papas Take a chance on a recommend Hard as hell just to comprehend Disbelief that I do suspend and Easy now to find a breeze Where you come from Where you going Where you come from Where you going We all want to tell her Tell her that we love her Venice gets a queen Best I've ever seen We all want to kiss her Tell her that we miss her Venice gets a queen Best I've ever I know you said you don't believe In God do you still disagree Now that it's time for you to leave G-L-O-R-I-A Is love my friend My friend My friend Your stylish mess of silver hair A woman of your kind is rare Your uniform returns to air G-L-O-R-I-A Is love my friend My friend My friend And now it's time for you to go You taught me most of what I know Where would I be without you Glo G-L-O-R-I-A Is love my friend My friend My friend I see you standing by the sea The waves you made will always be A kiss goodbye before you leave G-L-O-R-I-A Is love my friend My friend My friend
Love hearing these different songs either instrumentally or with John’s backing vocals! I will say in the second half the vocals are what take this song to another level for me, the back and forth between Anthony and John is beautiful!
yeah they are tricky, the key is to have no tension at all and just give her don`t stop moving the strum hand or else the rhythm gets lost! And tap or knod along to the beat as you play. I started off doing it slowly and then gradually increased the bpm until its at the correct speed. Another helpful tip is to practise the strum with the strings muted by the left hand.
I would have loved to meet and know Gloria...in this song Anthony explains perfectly what Gloria was for him...a woman who helped him with his addiction...we all should have a Gloria in our life ❤
Manuel, tengo casi todas tus instrumentales de los RHCP en casi todas mis playlist. Esta en particular la llevo reproduciendo infinidad de veces. Cheers!
Very nicely done. Do you also work on request? I might have one song I would love to have the instrumental version to.... Thanks for letting me know, yo!
@@ManuelEtchart Brilliant work nonetheless, I enjoy the instrumental efforts. No, it is a rap song by Goodie Mob, that means a lot to me and I am looking for a possible instrumental for ages. Would you have an idea? Merci... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rBWZYTDEbr4.html
@@ManuelEtchart I just disagree. I feel like he detracts from the magic that John and Flea are creating. I was in high-school when this album dropped and I loved it. Over the years I grew less interested in the band but I couldn't figure out why. I think that Anthony is the reason. There was a recent interview, I think it was 60 minutes, where John talked about viewing Flea on the bass as being the lead instrument. I think that Flea's playing says the same thing about John on guitar and there is a mutual respect there. After listening to the instrumentals I feel like Anthony doesn't fit that model. He treats the music they are making like they are supporting characters and his vocals are the star of the show.
