My wife daily drives an AMG GT C roadster. Seems like the best option unless you plan to go to the track. No fixed spoiler but I think it looks better that way.
Is that the OE tire on the GT C? If so, that’s wild. Anyway, replace them with the same size Michelin Pilot Sport 4 or Super Sport or whatever their top non R-compound tire is. Great tires.
Gotcha. Crazy that it’s an option. Great tire, but it’s pretty aggressive for a street legal tire. If it’s mostly dry where you live, it’s pretty usable, but they do wear quickly.
My next car must have 3 pedals, but a well used, driver condition GT S would be soooo cool. There's just something about this design! And it's even better in person. 😍
Only loosely related, but it would be very interesting to hear your thoughts on the W204 C63 (6.2L version) from a driving perspective. Some would argue that it was peak C63. At least I'd selfishly like to think so.
I may be in minority but I don’t find this car good looking or necessary. If I am getting a convertible I prefer a softer ride for cruising. I take a Lexus LC 500 with smoother ride and beauty inside and out. Mercedes should go to SL soft riding roadsters and leave GT for hard core sports driving in coupe form. But in any case, visually there is nothing organic here, just comes across as trying too hard, way too much width.
