This band's music has been a huge outlet for me. I come from a family where if you don't go by what your parent's or religion say you are disowned. I went through so much pain and suffering from age 12 until age 17 when I finally got the strength to get out of a very toxic relationship with family and an ex. I'm so grateful music in general but this band puts lyrics that are relatable to anyone. Thanks RJA for the music and I hope to hear more music in years to come.
I like the fact that they look so 'normal'. Especially Ronnie, just wearing normal clothes and stuff. This band is one of a kind. I have never heard another band with such an unique sound, which is different in every song, and I like them even more than I did at the beginning
"I'm not good enough for you I'm not seen enough for you I'm not anything" "So take your best shot Aim straight for my heart I'm not playing this game You can live in your shame, I don't fear anything" (It's hard to not be insecure when it comes to being with someone you care about, especially when they make you feel like everything you do isn't good enough, the worst thing to do is degrade yourself and allow someone like that to treat you that way,you have to move on..)
Ronnie has always been the vocalist the original lineup was Ronnie, Duke (rhythm) Thomas Amason (lead) James Gumbs (bass) Brentt Cumbaa (drums) the latter two lasted for months. Next were Tom Wurth was on bass and also Dan Wagler on drums . they released a 3 song ep i think, and released some other songs. as Elias Reidy first came in, Duke moved to bass and Elias to the rhythm guitar . Thomas lingered for months, and Elias moved to lead and Duke moved to rhythm.. Dan Wagler was replaced by(con)
whats with the top two comments? .... Y THE HECK R PPL AGREEING WITH THEM?! they are artist,.. treat em as such... end rant.... RJA you guys are legit. still really like your music... most are in my current playlist
@ososuperpowers They quit to work on their personal lives. Ronnie talks about it on one of their video blogs I believe and they have a new lead guitar Josh. He's not too bad ;)
... was replaced by Dorman Panfoeder who lasted about 2 months and was replaced by Jon Wilkes(current drummer) . yeah Joey played bass when Duke moved to rhythm. Elias left in 2008 and Matt Carter ( a much better guitarist w/o the looks) joined and left along with Duke. Josh Burke occupied the lead guitar. the band reunited with amason in one show at soundwave, and Jesse carroll, thomas' bandmate in Fit For Rivals (check them out too, the vocalist is cool and a girl) played rhythm....
