A quick outdoor catalog shoot for Canada Sport captured on the new RED Komodo 6K.
Everyone has their own taste and interpretation for color, so for this test, colors are straight from the camera and were not graded. Some basic curve adjustments were made as I did not have enough ND filtration when the sun appeared suddenly for a few of the shots.
As the camera has a global shutter, when you see the Profoto B1s fire, the frames are lit evenly and there is absolutely no banding unlike most rolling shutter cameras.
Lastly, I had the camera, the RED outrigger handle, 4 x BP955s, a Sigma 18-35 1.8 and Canon 50 1.4 (which I didn't use) and 2 CFAST cards and a Nextodi NPS-10 all in a Peak Design 10L sling. Didn't use an external monitor and used the top display to operate the camera.
