Red lentil Soup with spinach and Rustic Texture for the best comfort food

This red lentil soup is made with chicken or vegetable stock so it's equally great for vegetarians. Also for vegans without the yogurt. Perfect on a cold day as it's comfort food at its best, have it with grilled toasty bread drizzled with olive oil by the open fire.

That is not true all lentils and peas and beans have lots carbs and that make our sugar go up ! Even cucumbers and lettuce that have hardly any carb would make you sugar go up but not more then one or two number 😏it really doesn’t count 🤷🏼‍♀️check your sugar before eating the soup and again in 15 minutes check your sugar , you will see I am right 🤷🏼‍♀️

Red lentil is the most famous food here in Egypt, we use it in many many recipes.. But this ONE is very inspiring and new to me.. I will try it NOW.. There is a special chemistry "love chemistry" between you and every kind of food.. Thank u❤❤

Ahh, something new for me to try. Love at the beginning, how your pot is seasoned. Many of my friends say "why don't you clean your pans?"...suffice to say, I always do the dishes.

Watching from Bangalore, India. I like watching your videos for their variety, simplicity and visual effect. This lentil soup is a staple here and we call it Dal palak (literally meaning lentil spinach), a comfort food. Goes with our flat breads or rice in slightly thicker version or just by itself as soup in rather dilute version. Different types of lentils can be used with same recipe too. Also given to those recovering from fever or loss of appetite. Thank you for a nice video.

This is the best soup I’ve had in my life. I’m not even a vegetarian. Your fame has spread quickly here in Columbus, Ohio USA. I was so thrilled I bought a seven pound bag of organic dal. In India this is called Dal Palak😉. Dal is lentils, palak is spinach. We make this curry for lunch/dinner. But its a pleasure to watch your videos. Soothes the mind🥰
