Opening the lid of natural dyes to paint the textiles
Nature has always been the biggest source of inspiration to humankind to unveil an unexplored territory. “Plants to paint” was an ingenious discovery which paved the way to various possibilities of natural resources to put in good use. India, the land of textile prowess has been using the earth adherent dyeing substances tracing back for more than 5000 years.Making the natural dyes with different parts of plants like leaves, barks, fruits, flower, roots, and insects like lac, cochineal to print the “imperfectly perfect cloth” is quite a revelation.

Madder is heat sensitive na?
@VrittiDesigns
@VrittiDesigns 3 года назад
There are two kinds of madder. We use Indian Madder and Indian madder is not heat sensitive. If you using other madder than Indian Madder then you need to be very careful about heat while dyeing. We dye on slow heat / simmering only.
