"Slightly pink " ha ha ha ha. There is a lot of differences and similarity depending on the grade and finish you use. In all cases I recommend never getting prefinished. It's always a nicer floor if you just hire someone like me to finish it. Then you can choose the grade and exact color you want if you want to stain.

Prefinished looks terrible. The finish is too perfect and makes the floor almost look like it's it's not real wood. I agree with you just put a coat of stain on them and the polyurethane of your it looks the best
