I have four Red Paddle boards, we started with two of their 10 6's, I purchased another 12 6 Voyager a few years later and just recently another updated Voyager this year. We have a small garage and you'd never know we have four boards in there, we also take them with us when we travel, I love going out first thing in the morning when we are in Hawaii. Our next trip is going to be Venice Italy and paddling around there for a week. I still want to do the early morning Paris Seine paddle in early December. We just got a new rescue dog and I am going to see if I can get him to come paddle boarding with me in the mornings before I go to work during the summer. I would highly recommend Red Paddle Co to anyone wanting to get an inflatable SUP, they are awesome. I was playing around with a portable electric pump today when I got home from work, it will inflate the boards to 18psi and I just need to top them off with the titan pump if I want them any firmer. For the first timer.. Inflating them can be a workout by itself.

Hey, thanks for the info. Are you happy with the electric pump? What brandname would you recommend? Thanks.

@@george.carlin I have the Outdoor master Shark II pump, In the morning when I go out, I have just been using the Titan Pump from Red, The Shark pump is fine, a little noisy for me, It is dead still in the morning where I put in, I feel like a dick piercing the silence with the electric pump. Middle of the day.. No problem. The prices have come down recently on them and I have noticed more places other than Outdoor Master carrying them. Some pumps can only do one board before needing to cool off, I haven't done multiple boards yet, but they say you can with the Shark pump. It takes way more time to inflate the board with the electric pump, the Titan floor pump is super quick. But, if you had to do two boards, or more , then yeah, super worth it

Probably a newbie question. But why have the chose to have only 2 fins on the ride series? What’s the advantage compared to 3 or 2+1 fin?
@KiteRepublicAustralia
@KiteRepublicAustralia 8 месяцев назад
They found that the 2 fins were more efficient with less drag through the water and that they didn't lose turning ability for the usage styles that this board was aimed at.

Hi, what about Elite range in 2023? As well would elite 14 (2022) work as a touring board? I have very little amount of kit to carry. Thank you
@KiteRepublicAustralia
@KiteRepublicAustralia Год назад
Hey Jev, absolutely mate. If you're not carrying anything and you don't need the stability that a true touring board offers and just want to go decent distances then the Elite is a great option.

Help me with one more question. What is difference between Voyager 13’2 (2022) vs 2023? Thank you

Great video. Do you get much demand for the Activ yoga board?

Hi there, again they're a fantastic board. We get a combination of people using this or the Ride series for yoga.

Question. Is the 11'3" Sport surfable, or touring only? Compared to say the 10'6" Ride?
@KiteRepublicAustralia
@KiteRepublicAustralia 8 месяцев назад
The 10'6 ride is definitely more fun in the waves. It's got a bit more rocker and turns a lot better. The 11'3 will definitely catch anything from bay chop through to waves, however when you're on the wave you'll need to move a lot further back and even then won't have the same liveliness as the 10'6 Ride for example. For really small stuff you'll still have a lot of fun catching bumps on the 11'3 though.

@@KiteRepublicAustralia I have owned the 10'6" Ride for awhile now. But my wife is suggesting I look at the 11'3" Sport so that I can also help carry our soon to be 4 yo. Given her size Im not sure it will be doable on the Ride.
@KiteRepublicAustralia
@KiteRepublicAustralia 8 месяцев назад
@@Broughden the 11'3 sport will give you a bit more glide and easier distance with your little one on the front, however both boards will allow you to paddle with a 4yo on them. I'm 85kg, I can comfortably paddle a 10'6 ride with my 6 & 8yo both on the board. We are more like a tug boat in terms of glide but very doable if your balance is ok. With one of them on there we catch little waves, can pivot turn the board and play around some more. If you're aiming to paddle with your wife (on her own board) then the 11'3 glide (& your little one on it) will definitely help you keep up with her on the 10'6 and you'll have more even paddles than if you're just adding a little one to the front of your 10'6 next to her. Both are 32" wide and have comfortable stability for this. Hope this helps :)
