@@noisemerchants1022 yes it sounded like Don't Stop with the reverse effect. Very cool! I am getting this pedal lol. John's playing is unlike anything I've ever heard. It's not super flashy but when you listen in, it helps the song so much. He really knows how to write a unique melody, examples being Waterfall, Bye Bye Badman, This Is The One, the list goes on.
@@AirGuitar oh yeah, absolutly! His playing on the debut is really somthing special. It never gets in the way of the song. He holds back, even though he CAN shred. Restraint is such an under rated skill.
@@noisemerchants1022 wow you totally nailed it. Restraint is key. And oh yes, he can definitely shred, but it's the melodic and funky parts that he writes that compliment the rest of the band so well! I also love his tone, (I think he used a Gretsch Country Gentlemen for that record and it sounds absolutely blissful). Here's a great video of a guy playing Squire's part for Waterfall. The guy has NAILED the tone! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P5eD5czyA00.html
Hello, I really enjoy your videos and music. Nice work! Question for you - I'm trying to run my Particle 2 in stereo. I have the TRS to dual mono insert cable, but I'm only getting sound on one side. I'm just going straight into both channels of my interface right now as I'm working with the editor. Have you tried stereo operation? Any advice or thoughts on this? I want to place it in the middle of my stereo chain. Thanks for any help!
Hmm, thats very strange. I cant think of a good reason why that wouldnt work tbh! You might want to get on to their customer services. Sorry I cant offer any more advice.
@@winstonsmith8236 Hey Chris. It's a great pedal! You can use it like any mono pedal - mono in and mono out. However, if you're trying to place it in a stereo chain, you need to have insert cables (one end is stereo (TRS) and the other end is actually two mono (TS) ends). Basically, it needs to receive a stereo signal in the input jack in order to output a stereo signal from the output jack. Hope this makes sense and helps.
