*Red/Purple* Virus Imperialdramon Deck Profile June 2024 

Quick update: 2 time first place! Beat Royal Knights and Diaboromon. Made a few adjustments pre Promo Minomon. Thinking even though as much as I want the purple egg, the current one might still be better.

As someone who took the deck to regionals and placed 32, I feel like a lot of players are prioritizing too much on the level 6s of the deck. The list I topped with, I ran 3 Dragon Modes, 2 Fighter Modes, and 2 Valks. You will find our pieces and you don't want to draw into them early. I personally feel that the deck should be playing aggro with your level 5s instead now, and only go into your level 6s when you need to for the board wipe or the extra swing. Leaving your board with two level 5s who float into other bodies and can be a Valk Ace threat, so much scarier than a single fighter mode imo. Hot take, my current list has actually completely dropped Fighter Mode. He just bricks your hand too much and is only helpful if I already have a Dragon Mode. I'm currently running 3 Dragon Modes and 3 Valks. Who knows, maybe I might add him back in, but it just doesn't feel like it's worth it.
