Originally called NanowaR , as a play on the band Manowar. they changed their name to poke fun at another band that had to change their name for legal reasons. (Rhapsody changed to Rhapsody of Fire). Tons of Easter Eggs in their songs. For example: "Knisa grey is better than Sasha Grey" . Knisa Grey is an IKEA Sofa color, Sasha Grey was an adult film actress. "Falegn-Amen", falegname is the Italian word for carpenter. The guest is Thomas Winkler, then Angus McFife of the band Gloryhammer. Now he is Angus McSix from the band of the same name. An Italian band, joined by a Swiss singer from a British band (at the time), singing a heavy metal gospel song about a Swedish company based in the Netherlands. What could be more Christmassy? NoS are great fun and solid musicians - I saw them just over a week after seeing Sabaton, earlier this year! Speaking of which , I suggest _Pasadena 1994_ featuring Joakim Broden of Sabaton. But they have lots of good songs (though I don't much like _Barbie,_ which keeps getting recommended).

I got so excited when I saw you reacted to this, so I opened it right away. But, busyness of the holiday season being what it is for me, I just got around to watching it. I adored your reaction to this. One of my sons had me watch this some time ago, and my reaction at the beginning was similar to yours. It started differently than I thought, and then I didn't know if it was serious. Then it became obvious that it wasn't. I love that the choir robes are Ikea uniforms, basically. I love seeing people discover Nanowar of Steel for the first time. PLEASE watch more of their stuff. The usual suspects are "Norwegian Reggaeton," "Uranus" (and yes, they DO go there. Repeatedly. With glee.), and "Vegan Velociraptor." To this list, I would also add "Winterstorm in the Night."
