RED RIVER ('48) | Final Confrontation 

When filming RED RIVER ('48), Montgomery Clift was nervous to shoot with John Wayne until he was encouraged by director Howard Hawk to play his scenes as if he was David up against Goliath. 💪
Wayne was also worried about Clift being a realistic, rugged cowboy, but once they began shooting scenes together his axiety was quelled and he told Hawks, "he's going to be okay."
