RED ROCKS WORSHIP - Come Taste And See: Song Session 

Well when I saw the name of the song coupled with worship of course I knew what I was in store for. The other day there was this pastor on television that I had tried to be a part of their Ministry and they never even called me back and of course I took offense to it and would never listen to him on television. Then one day I thought that sure is silly of you considering one time you were considering his ministry to be a part of. So I gave it a listen and he said God sent his only begotten son that whoever Shall Believe in him shall not perish yet have eternal life. Pretty much Nails mile Redemption to the cross. Yet then he followed up with God has all these gifts that he wants to give us in addition to eternal life. Yet he doesn't Force us to accept the gift it's just like a birthday present if you don't open it and use it it's useless. Although it's up to each individual to reach out and take the gifts. Yet the one gift that he spoke of is self-forgiveness. At the time I knew I had some stuff that I had not forgiving myself for yet I didn't realize it was a gift from God because it was my self-forgiveness. Well it's 100% impossible to reach out and love others with the love of God when you're full of Shame guilt and remorse. So I decided that I would accept God's gift of self-forgiveness. And it 100% was a game-changer and when I opened the presents and I said presents instead of present because when I accepted the gift of self-forgiveness the shackles oh shame guilt remorse self-loathing and uselessNess began to fade away.Then it opened my eyes to see all that my sin of unforgiveness had blinded me from.Talking about a gift that keeps on giveing.Well mo wonder we call Jesus the PROMISE KEEPER.Funny thing as soon aa I forgave the pastor for not returning my call it opened up the first present god was giving me that day forgiveness for others . Yet even though I made the choice to pick up the presents God gets all the glory for giving me the wisdom and the power and the strength to accept the presents. Now it's up to me to seek after God so that I can continue to be empowered to walk in the fullness of his presence. So I'm going to be very careful and very humble today and not give myself or the pastor the credit. Because we are just vessels that God works his majesty through. He gets all the glory and his wonderful son who set in the wilderness knowing he was fixing to be crucified and all that came with crucifixion and just waited on them to crucify him for the sins of the world. I mean he just sat there in the Wilderness and waited knowing he was going to be beat his flesh was going to be ripped from his skin he was going to be mocked and called every ugly name under the sun he was going to have to carry his cross up the hill and ultimately be nailed to a cross. He just waited. However he know that he would raise from the grave that he would Ascend into heaven and before he left that he would promise US he would send his Spirit upon us so that we would have everything that we needed to walk in the fullness of God's joy. I don't know about the rest of the world yet I found a god who chase after me and when I fell to the Wayside he chased after me again and every time this world or shame or guilt or remorse comes about he chases after me again and he never quits chasing me. so yeah I found a God worthy of praise.. with that being said what a perfect song to wake up to and get my day started. Beautiful voices playing beautiful instruments unto a beautiful Lord and savior
