Unfortunately, I think it's very unlikely that DC would make Superman: Red Son anytime soon. Not only will they will be focused on trying to build up their new primary Superman, but I think their Elseworlds Superman will be the version currently being developed by J.J. Abrams.

Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster -- the creators of Superman -- were both Jewish. Much of Superman's origin story was based on the story of Moses, which is why he was given the name 'Kal-El' (which was pronounced 'Kol-El' at the time). I wrote that line in there to pay homage to the creators.

Moses was sent away in the basket, that's the only similarity. Superman is an immigrant from another land, like Siegel & Shuster's families, they took the idea for superman from Nietzsche's "Ubermensch". he his not "the voice of his people" like Moses was, he is not "the voice of god", he is though "god like" - all mighty כל יכול
