Amazing video, Yes, you captured the whole process. Impressed with the strength of these birds of prey. Very educational even if its graphic. Its part of the food chain.
I can see you filmed this Red Tailed Hawk on the other side of the road. You got a really neat close-up right there! The hawk was a little intimidated by your presence for a short time, but then at 2:52 it really starts to go to town on that tasty mouse! Thanks for filming this Stephanie! I loved it!
I have a hawk friend who stops by every day for a tasty lunch snack I put out for him (her) every day. This in a rural area with a lot of woodlands for miles around.
Very well captured! You even got the crime scene documented 😂 keep up the good work! Maybe one day you’ll be the camera person for National Geographic’s
Seems almost staged . Never saw any movement from the mouse. That redtail was just a little too comfortable and hey the camera man just so happen to be there ..Redtail has all day and happens to fly off once the mouse is devoured.. its like that flag in the moonlanding photo. Something doesnt sit right with me. Like Trump wont listen to Dr Fauci but he always wants to listen to Hope Hicks who knows nothing about Politics .. i know eye candy when i see it. But Don can do no wrong . .
Too beautiful to see nature at work keeping the rodent population down thereby protecting us humans from horrible diseases without using poisonous chemicals Viva to nature
This is hardly graphic, seeing someone hoover a three course meal is graphic-this is nature and it’s brutal and beautiful. Good warning for the sensitive folks though, I enjoyed the video. Thanks.
saw a Hawk once at the Eagle Rock Recreation Center. Standing there just like in above video - caught my eye from nearby basketball courts (I was shooting at). --didn't realize he had a brown wabbit in the Talon's - i.e. was crushing the Wabbit. Didn't APPEAR to be murdering, just very nonchalant about the whole thing. "Casual." Like people-watching from a park bench.
MOTHER HAWK: Where did you go my son? SON HAWK: I went to MacDonald. MOTHER HAWK: Son! Don't eat trash food. I recomend you Taco Rat. It is much better and healthier 🤣🤣🤣
In the countryside, I catch squirrels in pain free traps, wear them down in their traps and then leave them out, nearer to God, for the hawks and vultures. My social good. Both birds quickly carry their prey to a 20 -60 ft height, away from risks by being on the ground.
@@juans6639 Your right but a bird of prey. Do you ever feel something is watching you while you are trying to exist in this jungle.. The redtail is a theist, the butchered mouse is an Atheist. His argument is from suffering.
@@rlittlejohn2772 I agree with you about the suffering part but that is mother nature and there is nothing we can do about it, my point. Even insects, rodents other animals OR humans stung by venomous insects or snakes suffer before dying.
@@juans6639 Correct and i try not to interfer with nature. Humans are part of the natural environment. Its like when you leave a bar and a blue light pulls up from no where and it all goes wrong. Or the sea lion chiling on ice and Orchas show up.
Your belief in God is based mostly on fear. You're clearly not conditioned to be afraid of a belief in "mother nature". That's why it's easy for you to say there's no such thing.
