I hate having short nails I bite them only on my right hand tho so my nails on my left hand are super long and the nails on my right hand are super short
now if I had tried that, I would have just used red and black rather than two shades of red and the black - I'm pretty sure I would not have gotten this nice of a result - thanks!
A few years late but first: Gorgeous :) And I was in fact looking for fall ombre nail designs. Second: I use makeup-sponges, too but since they're so big, I cut them once in half and then I just keep cutting the used part off until there's nothing left to use. Much less messy and saves a lot of polish, depending on how often you do ombre designs.
I probably did this exact same mani over 100 times already and I'm never getting bored of it!this also suits your nails perfectly, great job as always!!!😍💕
+Hope161080 LOL tell her she's my new favorite person, I'm totally feeling the vampire vibe 😂 wait until she sees the vampire nail art I have for next week!
Kelli Marissa you are the world's best youtuber for me. I love your videos. ❤❤❤❤ . They are amazing. You are so pretty that I think you should become miss universe.☺☺ I LOVE YOOOOOOOOOOOOU!😙😙😙😙
Kelli, when u do this do u use a brand new Clean sponge each time or the same one? Also, do u reapply the polish to the sponge for each new nail. Your work is awesome and so beautiful!! I'm really trying to learn. Thank you in advance for your reply!
Glamour Babies. sorry because i respond.when the polish dries on the sponge it becomes hard but if it does not dry you can use it for the other nails. It dries slowly. When you finish your manicure, cut the part of the sponge u used and it's like brand new!😙
I have seen these gradients and wanted to try them for so long but every time I watch a tutorial, it makes it look so complicated that I chickened out. This was the first one that made it seem so easy, and while I didn’t do it as good as you, I managed to do a job that I’m satisfied with for a first attempt. Thank you so much!
Girl! Thank you! I'm going to try this. I've tried to get similar results from a salon and it's been a nightmare. One place told me they couldn't do it, another told me I needed an overlay for the dip powder, the last place I went to got really close to what I wanted but it's not as pigmented as I would've liked. So beautiful! ❤
Wowwww, that's a LOT of work! You know you can do the same thing with regular craft paint (79cents/bottle)! No base coat needed! Just sponge, put on a clear top coat, and when dry wash the rest off your skin ;)
i got bored so i decided to paint my nails, ive never painted them before and their pretty long. this video was very helpful and i like them very much :) thank u 🖤
+Kelli Marissa i found that using a simply peel newest bottle is more hard than i usualy use ( the nail polish bottle thing😶 ) and yes, they say it was the new bottle of simply peel, but it's just look like the refill bottle but the refill bottle is way more big.
Here's the deal for me personally. I learn a lot from watching nail art in RU-vid. Who knows how many video I have to weed out. Most tutorial are for long nails. Long nails are impractical and gross if people don't have the best hygiene. I am a short nails person - always! Her tutorial is simple and practical and for short nails. If she get sponsored by whatever or whoever, she deserves it! Her time and effort to educate RU-vidrs is what's counted. If someone can't appreciate and being negative to her efforts here, well too bad! Please add more educational nails videos here. Now could you also show how you do your hair too please?
+J o'rilley hey J, thanks for that! Your support means the world to me and I will continue to make videos for as long as I can :) all the money I earn from RU-vid goes right back into equipment and products for making more videos anyway! Haha! I can definitely do some hair videos in the future!
I am a lil late to the party with this comment, but I just wanted to say Holy Wow! This is gorgeous! My nails are all real and short like yours. I play piano and just prefer them short. Thank you for posting all these!! Makes my day :))
Yay. I finally found someone on RU-vid with short cute nails like mine instead of long Freddy Krueger nails all the time. Thanks and I just subscribed. :)
+EricaYE6 thanks so much and welcome to my channel, Erica! I'm so glad you like my nail length, it's so much easier to manage for me than long nails :)
Nowhere near as good as yours Kelli, but it came out lovely! I used a bright scarlet red. My friend and I loved the colour combo, it was very Deadpool/Darth Maul. Thanks for sharing your techniques, I am watching all your ombre nails videos now!
Kellie, I LOVE your nails, and nail art- STUNNING!😍 I’ve attempted this look with different colors, & that was before watching your video... you made it sound so easy, and fun! Looking forward to trying it til I NAIL IT!,!😉 Thank you for taking your time to make these amazing videos for us nail addicts... looking forward to catching up and for more future nail art tutorials from you! (:
awe... thank you, Kellie! I look forward to getting to know you better! (: I do have a question regarding this nail art. When your sponging it, about how many coats does it take you to achieve the look? I know it probably depends, but you let the coats dry in between, right?! Thanks again!🖤
I tried this today. Even though it was my first try. they look ok. I'm sure as I do more they will look better each time. Thanks to you and this great video. :)
This is so cool, and it looks so easy, but I'm sure I would still find a way to mess it, we shall see! Thank you so much for sharing this awesome video!
Wow!!Awesome.I love to watch your videos. You are awesome and you are so creative.I LOVE THIS VIDEO.anyway thx for showing how to do this on short nails.
So, I finally tried this. Didn't turn out too bad. Practice makes perfect and I'll have to do this several more times to perfect it. I love the look of red to black gradient. Some of my nails look really good, and ummmm... others look horrid! My right hand looks pretty bad because I am not too handy (pun?) with my left hand. Anyway, thanks for the great tips. I love this look.
Nice to see red and black done well on short nails. I'd love to try other techniques but I don't have long nails and they end up looking dumb. Also, I do a lot of gardening so my nails are always too short.
Kellie Hi!!! I love this diy hombre. However, i do it easier without putting that glue around or use that big white sponge but i just did it and it is beautiful and easy. Thanks!
This is so beautiful. I actually tried this with a Winnie the Pooh color scheme - yellow blending into red - and it came out perfect. Thanks for the awesome tips on how to do it just right.
Not sure what brand. It was from China. I tossed it out because I didn't like the result. Thanks so much for responding. I'm going to try the method you use. It's so pretty!
