I was never a fan of Kpop because for me groups are all the same, same music, same concept.. but when I started checking out Red Velvet, i immediately got hook with their music and unique concepts. Vocals and visuals are a plus! I will never regret stanning this group and will always be the first and last group i will follow. Red Velvet QUEENS!
I had the same thinking with you. My girlfriend is a K-pop fan. She has a lot of merch in our house, I also heard a lot of K-pop songs and I looked at them as groups doing cute things. I saw a pic of Seulgi just two weeks ago. I searched who is she and listened to Psycho then Bad Boy. I felt like they're a different group. They looked mature and cool and their music is just my taste.
Everytime Red Velvet perform Psycho, i didnt want to take it for granted. This song is magical and one of their best release. Especially the live version!! Thank you Red Velvet!!

"psycho," as well as the original mv, is art. one of the finest i've seen in kpop or any pop. it's sad that its promotion had to suffer from unfortunate circumstances. and we're so happy that wendy has been able to recover and is doing well now. also, screw sm. but none of the setbacks will ever take away from the fact that "psycho" will always be iconic and legendary.
Red Velvet know the fans MISSED a 5 member performance of PSYCHO Last Year during KBS Song Festival, so they chose to perform this song AGAIN.. so nice of them.
But tbh groups always sing the songs of their two latest comebacks for them it would probably be queendom and Psycho which is quite sad that they didnt have a comeback in so long
I remembered they were not able to properly promote this song because of Wendy's accident which is a shame because it is probably my favorite Red Velvet song and Wendy's vocals is just crazy amazing
They only got to perform it once in 2019 and it was at the end of year SBS show where Wendy got injured on the same night after the recording. They never made it to the KBS show and they didn't even get to promote the song properly at the time. This was the performance we missed out on two years ago, which makes it all the more special.
*Psycho is a SOTD (Song of the Decade) material. We were robbed for this era sadly. I think that SBS could make up to it by allowing them to perform the whole song while still letting perform Queendom fully.*
The stage presence of seulgi here is just oozing. Seems like she really missed performing on stage cause you feel the power, the effort and the fun in her every move.

WHOAH I literally had goosebumps just by watching RV enter the stage. And Psycho in red and black outfit screams power. The song is a masterpiece, RV is a true artist and this performance is just pure art.
