‘Seulgi’ is an ancient Korean word that means wise. It means the name of the woman who is the wife's favorite. In Korean, it is written as '슬기' Learning Korean characters, Hangul, is very easy. You can learn it in 1 day. It is a phonetic symbol and cannot be pronounced differently. (The alphabet has many different sounds)

🎂 Conceptually, "Birthday" is quite similar to FMR. It's built around Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" and the MV visuals are again, um... weird. 😊 It also references other RV songs (as do several other RV songs.)

Automatic MV! it was released around the same time as Ice Cream Cake so they’ll all be blonde again but it’s one of their best songs to date even if it isn’t exactly a title track.

The most stunning MV in kpop in my humble opinion belongs to one of Red Velvets oldest releases - Automatic. And a very fun live performance and choreo of Red Velvet is Rookie if you wanna check it out (i am personally not crazy about the MV tbh)

After Wendy's terrible accident, it wasn't a certainty she would ever sing again. She came back with this song which has a thank you message in the middle of the video to her fans for supporting her during the difficult times. Unlike many rection channels, you look like you're genuinely having fun doing the reactions which makes it fun to watch.

May I request a reaction to a video called “the ULTIMATE red velvet tier list” by winterosy? Not only might it give you ideas of new Red Velvet songs to listen to, but it’s very interesting and will give you guys a lot to talk about. The editing of the video is beautiful and the point of view of their discography is actually really cool. It’s about 45 minutes long, but it’s 100% worth a watch. EDIT: I also just have to say I do not agree with everything on the list, and the RU-vidr is very opinionated, but there is so much stuff he goes into that I never would have thought of and it’s so cool.

Btw, now that you know both Red Velvet and BtoB I would like to mysteriously tell you that Sungjae and Joy were once "married" lol.

🏖️ AFTR, please check out RV's "Umpah Umpah" (Aug 2019) -- it's a fun summer bop (they don't even try to kill you!) The song lyrics include other RV titles (in Korean or English, such as Dumb Dumb, Red flavor, Happiness, Ice Cream Cake) and pre-dates FMR with the repeated English line "Feel the rhythm". Definitely something unforgettable. 😉

Seulgi (슬기) is actually a little like “silky” but with a ‘g’. Definitely closer to ‘sil’ than a ‘sool’

2:05 Actually Seul-gi's "seul" is pronounced the same as "sle" in "sleep”.! It’s little bit difficult haha😊

FYI, the "eu" in seulgi is pronounced like the a in "about" it's a uhhh sound not an oo!
