Agent Maine survived being shot in the throat multiple times, being shot at by an SMG, being shot at by a Sniper Rifle, being shot at by a Battle Rifle, being shot at by an Assault Rifle, being shot at by a Shotgun, being shot at by a Magnum, being shot at by a lazar beam, being shot at by a Hornet, being shot at by a Rocket Launcher, having a ton of grenades thrown at him, being stabbed by an energy sword, being stabbed with a knife, being blown up by his own explosives, having all of those AI in him at once, being thrown off of a bridge, being rammed into by a Pelican, being rammed into by a Warthog, Tex tried to break his Spinal Cord, and a ton of other stuff. What makes you think he can't survive falling off of a cliff into ice cold water?

Maine didn’t want to be the monster, he was a good soldier that was manipulated my sigma. Maine aided Carolina on the fight on the freeway and in the facility to capture C.T. which means he understands teamwork and isn’t a mindless fighter. He was like locus in the chorus trilogies, he was just following orders after sigma and the rest of the ai were destroyed

The thing I hate about RvB is that Maine/The Meta and Sharkface were two of the most badass characters yet they both got a shit death. The Meta drowned by the Reds and Blues, Sharkface killed by Washington and Kimbal via guns (if that didn't kill him then death by nuclear meltdown by Doyal)

I seriously doubt that the Meta is dead. He died a Disney death in season 8. Also, SPOILER ALERT: Meta's helmet is found at the end of Season 12. The Meta's gonna come back. In some way.

Maine was a bad ass. but it wasn't his fault going evil. all he wanted was friends, than he killed them, because he was brainwashed. my only wish for him to come back, but simmons would disagree. he got shot 9 times in the neck, shot in the chest, getting hit by a speeding truck, and falling 50 meters to soiled fucking ground. but like a bad ass he was, he survived. i always wounder. was he actually evil. i miss you maine.

His A.I., Sigma, was created off of The Director's ambitions. When Maine was introduced to Sigma, the A.I. started to brainwash him, slowly. Sigma was an evil A.I. and he got Maine to do all his dirty work. Maine was a badass brainwashed to be evil, a victim trapped in the ambitions of his A.I.
