The situation of inverted controls was my biggest gripe about no man's sky. I realize I fly with inverted, and walk using normal. I had to switch constantly.

Well, what if I'm on PC guys? What then? (and to answer the community, yes, it is possible to convert Halo to PC. I haven't done it, but many of my friends have.) Also, Xbox has you pay for multiplayer. The internet is free for gaming use here. No money required.

I ran into the inversion problem. Except all my friends used inverted and I was still playing with a normal axis. Then I started playing inverted and got better at games.

my dad plays on inverted and i play standard and his reasoning for inverted is that the look stick is basically the pivit at the back of your head, so when you pull down on the back of your head you look up and visa versa.

In regards to putting a logical explanation to as to why some people (such as myself) are comfortable playing on an inverted Y-axis controller setting, think of it as so. Imagine your body is a controller (not a Kinect reference), and your head is a joystick. If you wanted to look up, you would pull your head backwards. If you wanted to look down, you would push your head forward. So in order to look up, you pull the joystick back and to look down you push it forward. Food for thought.

The y-axis for planes is inverted for a reason, it would be difficult to maintain let's say, a dive when you have to push the stick further towards the ground. This is because of gravity and unless you fly upside down 24/7 whenever you fly well then it applies.

i used inverted controls because i was in to flight sim's way before fps's also most ps2 era fps's inverted is default. honestly i dont see how you could get used to non inverted.

Pretend there is a stick sticking out of your head. . . if you wanted to look up what would you do to the stick? You would push it down. If you wanted to look down, you would push the stick up! :D Makes sense! When you think of it that way

i use invert well...cause imagine your looking down at your head like its a controller toggle, if you pull it down then your pulling your head back and looking up, likewise, if you push it forward, your tilting your head forward and lookng down...make sense?

I used to play halo back when we fought over great 3rd party controllers and no one wanted the big old 1st party controller. if you got the newer 1st party then you were okay but... The 3rd party one we used was like the 360 controllers. I guess they learned because they were so popular.

Tell 'em Church! Being an 'inverted' user, I think standard look control is 'so yesteryear'(you know...Atari...2D....the 80's...when up was up, and down was down) With today's 3D 'First person' games you can now think 'out of the box' with inverted ;) [leaning over forward and leaning back] *if your brain starts to smoke while trying inverted, STOP...and go back to Normal. Have fun being normal... =P

Inverted is more logical. That's not why I use it. I just always have. Think about it though, if you were holding a real rifle with your right hand on the trigger, the power is in your right arm. You aim with that arm. You stabilize with the left. So when aiming UP, your right arm goes DOWN at the shoulder. Aiming is more with your back though lol

all of yuo inverted ones with the tilting head argument...when i look up, the direction of my eyesight, wich can shift with or without head movement, lifts, or in other words, the line of sight shifts to a upwards direction, or on other words, when i look up, my eyes tilt fucking up. inverted or not, we each use what our brain accepts better.

i used to play inverted aswell but it annoyed people so i decided to change too normoal, heres an easy way too do it 1st get a rpg game something 3rd person thats not a shooter, set the camera too normal play for a while and then go on too playing shooters with normal it took me about a week too change, anyway hope this is helpful

Well I think he was pointing out what was wrong with the person's comment, not correcting it. Although, I believe that as long as we can understand the meaning of the comment, there is no reason to have it be corrected, especially in a demeaning manner.
