Haha, yes it has surprised a lot of people. I have only seen it drunk once on Hvar, in the village of Humac, but my punac drank it as a child. It has another name on Brac, I think.

On the island of Korcula, Vela Luka, Blato there is a another way of drinking wine it's called " napiti se iz juhe" , in the pot where you cooked brodeto or blitva or any fish or vegetables you ad a red wine and drink out of the pot where it was cooked
