Very much enjoyed this. I learned it from a West Virginia Hill country born musician. Used to play it with him every time I went up to do White Water rafting......he would play it on a fiddle he made from a cherry tree....showed it to me and DID it, LOL. Good for yall.....KP
One of the tunes I love to rattle off at a good pace on my 12string (using Glen Campbell's instrumental version) - this is awesome by Michael. Superb improvisations and decorative twirtles. 10/10
had the good luck to play music with joey at Warwick's campout,, along with bob Jones,,, would really love to to do it again with Michael in the mix,,,,I could make a lifetime commitment out of learning from those 3
I remember playing with Joey back in Oregon. My sister ( Marilyn White ) and I were part of the Joey Mckenzie and Friends....haha! I guess we were the "friends"!
Best I've heard Michael play. Having a good, and I mean Great rhythm guitar player laying it down for you makes all the difference. Michael, Joey and Gavin ought to do a record. A' course the World would probably turn upside down and we'd all fall off, but what a ride Huh?
