I'm pulling for the Ford brothers since they are from Spring Tx just down the road from me. I have watched those boys since they were just little kids. Go gett'em Bryce and Cody.
no disrespect to theses guys racing. they are fast. but watching this makes you really reflect on the golden age of atv racing in the early to mid 2000s. you had your top guys that were up front every week but anybody in the top 8 had a chance to win. no so much these days.
I don’t really agree. Whole class now is very talented but would’ve been the same situation if not way worse if weinen and hetrick rode in the early 2000’s. They are just on a whole differnet level then any quad rider ever
@@Steven_Bo1 i do agree with you if those two were racing back then they probably would still be winning. for sure these guys are faster and have taken what could be done on a quad to a higher level. to me i think the there just was a real chance anybody could win back in those days. but thats why you show up to race every week you never know what can happen.
@@GYPSY400 worked in two different dealerships back in the sport quad hey days. It was only three years roughly but they weren't selling like crazy back then. I can't remember the exact years but I never saw a Kawasaki one as they came out after I decided I had my fill of dealing with the motorsports community.
@Stacy Fenton yeah that's true. After 2008, people didn't have money for " toys." At the same time, the sport utility quads ( outlander 800, brute force 750, etc.) were really becoming the machines to have as they were more versatile. So, the manufacturers focused on that.
May be a bit bias as a yfz 450 rider myself but there just isn’t much competition due to the money Yamaha is willing to dump into both their quad and dirt bike teams. As far as commercial success Ktm is way to expensive and the trx is similar priced but would choose the yfz 10 times over. Out the box the yfz checks every box. I have minimal work done to my bike and at the sand drags or hill nobody can touch me besides the fully built banshees Edit: and that’s not even factoring in the look of the yfz, especially the 450r just looks so much better than anything else imo
