for everyone that is wondering. he got released from the hospital with no more than just being shaken up a bit. he had no broken bones or major injuries. this is referring to matt jones’ video on the huge jump.
Our bodies and brains can't take blows like that. It doesn't matter if bones weren't broken. You do not walk away the same after a crash of this nature.
@Tremayne.w u would be surprised with just how good our dh helmets are, they can take hits like that every day, just look at Matt Jones' wreck when he was in slopestyle.
We wasn’t anticipating the speed. When he hit the bottom of the ramp before the up swing is where he lost his balance. The compression of the g-force screwed him up. You can see him swerve a little to the right when the force hits him
The instructions clearly stated that the rider must hold on to the bike. Its also obvious that those behind designing this stunt have no knowledge of physics. Speed, angle of dissent , and length of both ramps must be included in the calculation for tje rider to be successful. As you can see. He almost over shot the landing ramp. If that would have happened, his impact, on the inclining hill, would have stopped him dead in his tracks
red bull have made a very dangerous jump that under a pressure of a race can end someone's life with just a small mistake, luckily Jim has been discharged from hospital and he only had a head concussion
I know the skateboarders on Redbull would be doing exactly the same thing they're already doing without Redbull. I doubt these guys would be doing anything different.

Yeah, he actually luckily didn't break any bones with mild concussions. Redbull also realized the jump was terribly built and people could die on it so they got rid of it
@@w26llly I'm shocked he was only concussed. Reminds me of the old kelly mcgarry wrecks on the 99 footer at rampage years ago. Which always leaves me wondering how the hell people can walk away from wrecks like this?
Looks pretty dumb. Might have too much lift in the ramp. See way too many people here that know these clowns names. Ok, why do this? Because it’s there.😅
