That looks like a great place to crawl check out Htec RC I came across them they have some one of a kind Ascent parts which are decently priced but most things are expensive their wheels are absolutely amazing I’m not sure I’d pay as much as they want but if I was going to go all in I’d get a set because they are not common & you rarely see them but they are beautiful. I’ve got the red Ascent & it’s upgraded like crazy I’ve got the red Rock Pirates shock towers & a bunch of Treal parts including metal axles Fusion SE 1800kv Desert Lizard shocks etc. I ordered the Htec front aluminum bumper magnet body mount kit & rear link mount. I’ve been seeing a few put lights in the body so I’m very interested in doing it also even if it’s just rock lights. Merry Christmas looks like the weather there is good I live in 805 Ca. area & we had 3 days of rain & it’s definitely cool but the sun is mostly back now.

Did you shim the transmission or cut the transmission to transfercase driveshaft? It seems pretty loud and not a smooth off idle as it should be. Every ascent I've checked has this problem simple fix w amazing results
