Definitely looks better, great upgrade!! I'm not going for this crawler since I have the Ridgerock already.. I removed the bed on my blue Accent, and found a really cool metal tool box for my battery housing, just haven't got it together yet...

Good cage kit, but fitting to a normal body not an easy modification. But like you said you learn as you go and help others who might try. Good how you can make it a hinge body as well.

i use magnets for clamps. it allows you to move parts around easier than one hand clamp tightening. but love the vid very good idea

Ive also been eyeballing those cheap carbon scx10II lcg chassis kits on ebay. Looks like it could be made to work with the ridgerunner, it would get rid of that whole battery tray and be able to mount battery down near the skid I think.

The cage works real good on the gen8. The cage looks pretty good on that but I think the tire is going to mess up the trucks performance
