Day 1 Daily 76 player here. Love your content AKP. Some more tips I’d throw in for your consideration: 1) Learn to Sort by Weight/Weight Stack in each category of your Inventory - saves a LOT of headaches with weight management; 2) XP: run water purifiers, and ensure you’re diluting your stims with all your buffs running. Add to this Super Duper & you’ll have a tonne of XP, a tonne of stims/Chems to sell & thereby caps for DAYS…; 3) know your environment (re work benches for scrapping). To ensure you’re not taking a LONG walk back to a camp or Train Station explore Appalachia for all & any available work benches to be able to scrap to get back under weight (for those without 1st); 4) be aware of simple ‘hidden’ inventory fillers that burn up your carry weight: grenades, different mineral ore, gunpowder, Nuclear Keycards, Claim Tokens, etc. Welcome to all the New Vault Dwellers, & Stay Awesome everyone! 👊🏻🇦🇺
And eat the spoiled meat as a herbivore, you won’t need any other food. Since you get diarrhea anyway drink some dirty water. And pop a antibiotic, (or sh*t it out) it won’t stop you being a ghoul , but it will keep you well fed.❤ (Be happy ,the radiation will probably kill your last bit of sanity and “nerd” rage will follow, things will get bloody)
With Super Duper, if you exit out of a workbench after crafting an item, the craft again, exit, craft then super duper will fire each time. Might be annoying if you are crafting several different items but to reap the best chance of super duper firing exiting the workbench or station and crafting again will mean every item (except those excluded from the perk) yields the best bang.
1. Makes sense, the same chems tskem in succession will cancel the previous one. 2. Lucky hole mining is _still_ the best way to farm lead. 3. Actual cooking with herbivore/carnivore + strange in numbers gives ridiculous buffs. Dog food is for noobs. 4. Electric Absorption refills fusion cores (but not plasma). Just slap a near-empty core in your power armor, get in, and stand in front of west tek or any blood eagle hideout. The core will be lasered back to 100% 5. Tasty Squirrel Stew gives 25% Xp boost with carnivore and strange in numbers, in a public team 6. 10 stimpaks are more than enough for a few hours play. Also, nuka colas +cola nut can supplant stimpaks.
I need more stims than that. I use one every 30-40 seconds in daily ops or expeditions (Bloodied unyielding commando & vampire auto ax low health excavator Power Armor w/emergency protocols)
Much better than carrying around tons of water and dog food - get the Legendary perk Survival Shortcut. That will cause you to generate Survival Chems as you go, with up to 5 in your backpack at the base level. Survival Chems will fill your Food and Water meters completely, heal any diseases you may have, and give you a large amount of health - usually enough to fill your HP meter if you're not almost dead. They also don't weigh much, and are affected by any perks or mods that affect chem weights. It's one of the first things I do on a new toon.
to farm fusion core or plasma cores, you can also do daily ops, just before finishing the daily ops just take a laser gatling or a plasma gatling and you're good to go, because the daily ops will always give you the ammo type you used with the last weapon drawn before its end and all of that for less than eight minutes of work, I farm most of my ammo this way
For lead just go to each of the three nuclear silos and scrap the gym weights at the very beginning when you go down the elevator. 60-75 lead per silo I think
My lead run is as follows, monorail elevator loose weights, Lucky Hole Mine lead nodes, right most mega mansion weights, Charleston FD weights, Green Country Motel (flatwoods) weights, VTU weights, prison weights, V51 weights (private world for best yield) I was unaware of the silos weights, good to know
I can't believe people drop gulper innards. I pop a berry mentat and Cranberry cobbler and can get 10K to 20K experience from crafting slurry after Jamboree. I only have 200-300 of my own. I pick up 200-500 people drop.
Instead of Radways... you can bring with you Brahmin Milk (very efficient) or Nuka Grape (very goood... and even better if Cola Nut is active). Also if you have the meat collector card (dont remember its name) under Perception... you get even more meat from the carcasses of the killes animals... and always, always... cook the meat before selling it... not only you get sweet xp... but youi also get a lot more caps when selling the food :)
The penitentiary has loads of weights in the yard. Scrap them at the work benches there for tons of lead scrap. There are also weights for inside every nuke bunker, just grab them and head out to scrap. I’d also like to mention butchers bounty perk card if your doing meat, and woodchucks perk, because you will run out of wood fast. You can find wood at Sylvie & sons and Helvetia. Good farming.
Addendum to the 5th tip on collecting the meat tip. Remember to have superduper equipped, that way there is alot more that will proc - boom go sell to a vendor, and get a nice stack of caps to buy whatever you want that you can purchase for caps ingame ;)
@@AKP_Gaming You did mention it earlier with the crafting of items that spawned a fusion core. But I see that creators often forget or dont know about the superduper and meat ? caps :P
Absolutely. After moonshine jamboree, if you cook all the gulpers into slurry with super duper you will usually have more slurry than the vendors have caps.
I usually scrap the gatling lasers since the vendor caps limit is always exceeded🤣 for XP I do westtek it's so much more efficient, so the meat is useless most of the time
Weights also contain lead. 1 lead per pound. Green Country Lodge (the motel to the north of Flatwoods) has a gym area on the ground floor (6 weights, ~35 lead). Ground floor, right behind the lobby.
i made a lot of cola oriented stuff only because of Cola Nut and Demo Expert, gathering nuka cola quantums for thirst zapper ammo, and nuka cola normals for Nuka Grenades, and Nuka cherries for health and AP regen, which is insane with cola nut
With ammo, chems, food, see how much you actually use in one or two play sessions. That's all you need. The only time I use alot of RadAway is in Pittsburgh! Always cook food before selling. Herbivore - corn soup or razergrain soup are good carries. I can't believe people actually buy the bubble gum, it's easy to find out in the world. Did not know about diluted rad-x canceling rad-x - that's an immediate sell just to be safe! Gratz on your channel success!
Well, because of this video I found out Rad-X suppresses mutation effects. I'm surprised I missed that before. Certainly explains why my mutations suddenly stop working.
good bunch of tips there, weight management is a good skill to learn and what you need on you at any time.for the gat lasers, guns n bullets 5, that along with scrapper you get a lot more back, best to do this when checking out treasure maps as you will get a lot to scrap down
@-Lucky-Six- weight management in this game is huge imo. I can find myself quitting the game during the day if Im maxed but then it's down to good STASH and weight management
A good tip for new comers or people with out fallout 1st is plastic farming and bulking scrap. Another is using the machine that let's you trade in ammo for points to buy other ammo. If you don't own the machine (500 atoms in store) you can use them in other players bases
Plastic is an underrated commodity. It allows you to sell bulk scrap. And for less desirable scrap, i.e. steel, glass, cloth, you can bundle it to sell to vendors.
thanks for the meat tips. I keep forgetting to cook it before it spoil ... but i did notice the xp for cooking and didn't even flash on the fact that it was basically 0 effort xp
When OG fans complain about Bethesda ruining the IP, I think about the toys all having lead in them. Love or hate the games, they definitely get the setting, and I really like little details like that.
Looks super easy to get ammo nowadays. A few years ago, we had to craft ultracite ammo by ourselves. Now I'm back to the game with almost 60k ultracite .45 ammo.
If you own Fallout 1st, the daily and weekly challenges count even if done in a private world. The same with custom worlds where, if the challenge was to build x number of items in a camp or workshop you can set up a custom world where building costs no resources. It costs you no resources AND you still complete the challenge. You won't have your normal public world character gain experience/resources etc but if the goal is to complete challenges to then claim on the scoreboard using your normal public world character then this works out fine.
FO76 : If I need Fusion cores I just claim the workshop at Poseidon Energy power plant , and make them with the already present Fusion core maker . Also Fusion Cores , and Mini Nukes have 3 weight values although all 3 versions display the same 3 weight in the text. Mini Nukes have 3 lb. , 6 lb , & 12 pound versions. Swapping them out from Inventory to Stash , and back a few times resets them to the now default 3 weight .
I always go Admantium Skeleton and Cola Nut with my VATS build. It makes stimpacks and rad med redundant. Nuka cola also refreshes AP so for VATS users needing that boost, its superb.
Also another tip. When picking up meat use Backwoodsman 1 and Rank 3 Butchers Bounty for more meat. Can also do the same with veggies grab Green Thumb and Backwoodsman 4 and start farming. When ready to cook use Super Duper Rank 3 for higher quantity.
Perfect bubblegum is also sold for 75 gold bullion at the vendors in both of the faction HQs. Really cheap and worth it especially if you do a lot of queen runs.
Cola nut will cover hydration no problem. Also, with carnivore and the radstag field dressing station you get a pretty much endless +50 carry weight bonus. You get 5 steaks that last 30 minutes each, by the time you run out the station refills. I don't even run good with salt. Added bonus, by the time you usually need to eat again, the steak runs out.
When the fusion core charger hits the shop or next score board, we won’t have to mess around so much making them or hunting for them depending on how many it’s gonna charge in one go.
Lead just go to the monorail or go to the prison yard at the penitentiary or to fire breathers base just north of the rusty pick there are loads of weights which means loads of lead.
@@AKP_Gaming flux is pretty cheap these days. i bought a bunch for 15 caps each. so it takes 75 caps worth to craft 4 fusion cores. so a bit less then 20 caps a core. i guess you could add up the mat cost of crafting the level 25 laser, and if you can get the total mats per laser cheaper, then the tip is still good!
@@AKP_Gaming yeh pc. discord channels, 15 caps is the standard price from what i've seen. i havent played on other platforms. are the prices a lot different?
@@AKP_Gaming if you are on pc i can give you some flux of each type, make it worth the while to switch your perks to test it out to make a video or whatever. also, how about some treasure maps. i can give you 1000 per zone, and you can test out the drop rates of cores. make a video of that. I also have a spread sheet showing the drop rates for every item you can get in maps. I have only ever crafted cores a couple times. i just go do a batch of treasure maps and get cores free doing those. my alt has a couple hundred stashed from doing maps a few days ago. 😁
@xepicxyoshix5982 I mean NGL I have way too much scrap but I got fallout 1st again why I am doing the scoreboard so everything has been added to scrapbox
I tend to prefer Chem and Food weight reduction armors. As even a modest supply of aid items will reduce more weight than weapons. Toss on some perk cards for Traveling Pharmacy and you can really stack more items on your character.
That is still 75lbs of stimpacks bro. I keep it to six or fewer myself, but then being a bloodied build I am either fine thanks to layers of mitigation or dead in a couple hits from something I can't see/VATS down fast enough.
For the cooking food but, i just got 134 gulper innards from moonshine jamboree.. cooked them into slurry and got 1300 xp and that's without doing any buffs.
Just find the Interactive map in Google, it shows the locations of everything you need, use filters. I'm selling lead already, because I'm using energy weapons and Plasma caster with ultracite capacitor are super efficient for saving your ammo - for 1 shot kill you get 20 bullets back. Daily ops or the Pitt will also give you lots of ammo. If you need exp from crafting, just craft Leather armor hand or the Boards - scrap them, craft again. Because of Super duper you will be getting more resources back than you spent. Im not using that, because West Tek runs with exp buffs giving a great exp, possible to get around 7 levels for hour.
Tasty Squirrel Stew is the best food item in the game. I have single handedly rendered squirrels extinct in many servers to get those delicious squirrel bits.
If you have a very trusted friend, have them create a new character solely for the purpose of storing items you wish to use eventually or meat you want to sell but don’t want to spoil as it’s still early in the day. I have amassed so many chems, fusion cores, weapons, cooked meat, etc.
Addendum to the lead tip: Cans. Tin cans. Rusty cans. Even Aluminum cans. They all contain lead. But not the unrusty can. A string of can chimes will yield 9 cans per string. So, see a can, pick it up. They don't weigh a lot (.5 lbs) and they can stack up pretty quickly. Barbells and free weights also contain lead. Addendum to the fusion core tip: Most, if not all (I haven't checked every one) power station workshops will have a fusion core generator. Claim the camp, plop down a generator (it takes 100 electricity) and hook up the fusion core generator. It will produce 1 core every 7 to 8 minutes. I believe it maxes out at 3 cores. What I do is If I need cores and I plan on playing for an extended amount of time I'll set this up, go play around, come back every 20 minutes or so to collect my cores and then go play around some more. Rinse and repeat. You'll probably have to go back periodically to defend the workshop but, hey, free plans, right?
The easiest way to get fusion cores is just take over any of the powerplant worksops and power of the core machine, even easier if you have FO1st as no need to conted with other players and if you take over all 3 you get 9 cores every hour
5:06 that's an awful tip with crafting multiple gatlings just to get their fusion core. Crafting those consumes fiber optics (among many other resources) and you get no optics back after scrapping. Fiber optics are very hard/tedious to farm, and you yourself in the video only had a couple hundred. You'd burn through that in no time, whereas you get flux free from boss events... Or you can easily farm it in a variety of ways.
if only the game would stop telling me that i need more that 1gb to play the game even tho i have a crap ton of space, and i would definitely play the game right now
don't drink purified water, it's waaaay to valuable. Use inert flux instead, it only gives 5 rads, but it refills 10 percent of your thirst and grants a small amount of disease resist. This is even better if you have ghoulish and rejuvenated since the rads will heal you and you'll get more out of staying hydrated. Inert flux is also stupidly easy to get, you just throw on green thumb and pick all the plants in a nuke zone. Color doesn't matter, you just leave it in your stash and let it go inert. It has no crafting uses, so you may as well use it as hydration. Throw in a carnivore mutation with cannibal and you won't even need to carry food at all. Scorched, ghouls, super mutants and humans all can be eaten for a heal(a rather significant one) and hunger refill. With carnivore you won't contract diseases from cannibalism, and the next update is going to fix the interaction so that you also get double the heal/hunger from cannibalism to boot.
For Fusion Cores, if you fast travel to Power armor spawn locations, can you pick up Fusion Cores that way? I suppose they wouldn't be full, but it's better than nothing?
Bring their crafting you’re not getting any clocks back from scrapping things do you want clocks for crafting Barb that you got to go farm it or buy it? That’s the only two ways to get it. Well, that’s not the only way you’ll get some flex from killing the queen I don’t know if it’s random phlox or what type it is I just know you get some from killing the queen I think it’s just random but you ain’t getting any flocks by scrapping items that’s not how it works you get back metal plastic things like that, but no flocks
I don't know how you jump so high, from the beginning of the game I've never been able to jump that high. I thought players were using hax. Is it a weight thing?
Mutation called Marsupial. If you drink dirty water until you die, you get one mutation per game instance that you join. If you join a different world and drink water until you die then you will get another mutation. Just beware, taking Radaway has a very strong chance to REMOVE the mutation 🤦... You can remove radiation with nuka grape or Brahman milk. You can find 8 Brahmin cows in the town south of the wayside. I can't remember what it's called I think it's pleasant valley. EDIT: Flatwoods
@@karlthegreaterest 2102 is the year and no they didn't stop using lead paint. The micro chip was never invented the modern engine never was invented. Everything stayed with nuclear tech and fusion tech because even tho fusion is to dangerous they had no other methods. Is this your fist fallout??
I dont carry rad x or stim or deluded stuff. I ony use super stims the_ are super easy to get. There is a easy way to fusions cores but i understand everyone has their own way witch is cool.
@AKP_Gaming Basically they loot the partially filled fusion cores from PA world spawns (other players often drop low loaded fusion cores as well), then travel back to Vault 76 and heads over to the mini communist bots. With electrical absorbtion legendary perk equipped hop into your PA and there's a % chance the laser shots recharge the core in your PA a bit (and also your HP). When fully charged, just switch with another partially filled core and repeat until all cores are recharged. Works with all energy damage received , but the commi bots at the vault do moderate damage 😁 I still like tip 4 with crafting them that way 👌
@@PhoebeFaktor Commie bots do very little damage when you have a full set of good armor with high energy resistance. I forgot that there is also the FC charging station (it's behind a 39$ paywall tho)
@@erecto_patronum that's true indeed. I switched through apparel a while ago and didn't notice my armor was stripped by the hazmat suit. I just melted from a couple shots 😅 and that was even before the energy change/bug in the last patch
Aren’t money does not taking your money when you use Adams you don’t need to buy Adams first actually no good reason to unless you’re just you know a shopaholic and you can’t handle saving
@@AKP_Gaming I have a vampire fixer as well it's just I have the perk card as strength has no other choice I need so I just carry around a lot of chems I do t need
@Emcredible I am going to start doing my face, but "apparently" if you have a face on a thumbnail it improves the chances of you clicking on the video :) its been working tbh
@@AKP_Gaming fair fair, the clear white text on the blue background is what i notice most, i dunno if its jsut because im autistic as fuck but the faces throw me off, glad to see its working for your channel tho
👍there are several fusion cores all over that are fully charged for free plus the ones that are not I have a recharger all for free I never run out, see them in player venders for 10 caps each full charge
Common sense is to look for scrap playing 76 it's not hard to find things 😅😅😅 people fast travel to much so they run out of scrap fast people need to slow down then you max out fast on scrap🎉
@@AKP_Gaming Pvp yes Also workshop take overs yes Also event rejections trick yes Some times loot bags people no want some stuff after events. Yes Train stations suitcases yes F1 grab it all scrap it all cook it all. Yes yes yes scrap box madness Also when stash box too full, mule time yes yes and triple yes.
You can guarantee yourself a super duper every time. Simply go into any workbench and craft your item. A super duper is almost guaranteed the first item. After the first craft, back out of the workbench, then go back in and craft again. You'll get another super duper, then back out again. It takes a little longer, but it guarantees a super duper almost every time. Works for me.
@@AKP_Gaming it's easy enough mate, I've modded n Admined several discords over the years n I'm useless with stuff like that 🤣 Good luck though n feel free to ask anything, always happy to help if I can mate 👍
