** TODAY'S PUZZLE **
We've had lots of recommendations from Reddit users to try Mystery Killer Primes by Shintaro Fushida-Hardy. It's a 5x5 grid with a beautifully simple ruleset. The puzzle itself is a joy (and very approachable) and feels almost like a discovery. What a debut!
Play the puzzle at the link below:

Rules:
Each row and column contains the digits from 1 to 5 once each. The digits in each cage sum to a prime number but no two cages sum to the same prime. Digits in a cage MAY repeat.

Wow! Thank you for the feature! I definitely agree that it felt like a discovery, the setting-experience was almost all spent trying to find a "valid final configuration" (rather than thinking about the logic necessary for solving it.) It was an amazing coincidence when the final result was logically solvable. Glad you enjoyed solving it as much as I enjoyed setting it!

@Qurqirish_Dragon

@@sacredsock8031 Maybe, but not a full 9x9; the sum of all primes less than 45 is less than 405 (why 405? it's a secret....🙂), so either repeated digits must be allowed, or there would need to be uncaged cells.

Wow, this was the first time I have EVER solved a puzzle faster than Simon! Granted I know he takes the time to explain his reasoning, but considering I can often take 2-3x the amount of time on some puzzles, this feels great 😅 I honestly got it by listing out all of the primes that the squares COULD be and quickly realized that 3-19 were the only primes possible. I then figured out where the 3 was and that it was 1,2 and that led me to narrow down which one was the 5 of the triples and narrowed it down to 2,1,2. After that, everything else just kinda fell into place without any other extremely hard thinking 😅 SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS MOMENT!

21:08, spun my wheels for a bit at the end, breaking the sudoku. Looked at the video and saw that my logic was correct, so I re-pencil marked everything and it ended up working on my final attempt. No idea what I was doing wrong, maybe summing the cage in the upper right incorrectly?

Don't try this when you're tired. You're gonna believe that 9 is a prime number and mess up the whole puzzle
