I actually know legit I'm being monitored (internet only.) Back in 2010, my older brother attained classified clearance in the military. Part of that was a full background check by the fbi. at the time, I was in school for mechanical engineering (I wanted to design weapons.) My dishing mom told them how I was always 'looking at bombs and stuff' and when I got home, found 2 dudes staring over my computer. While I explained the whole situation (and they excused all the pirated music after wiping said drive) I found a wierd program on my hard drive. Ran constantly, couldn't delete it at all, and if it got corrupted it would get repaired via internet. (None of this worked when disconnected though.) Idgaf about it at this point though.

My mom was really controlling when I was young. When I first moved out, she put a tracker on my car and never told me. I didn’t find it for months (though I had my suspicions) until a friend of mine was trying to rig up a bass booster in my car. She wonders why I don’t trust her and why I always feel paranoid.

It's even possible Afifi's dad wasn't involved in anything sketchy, it's possible him and his son were victims of racial profiling.

Just want to say that I appreciate that you stick to facts and reasonable analysis/speculation. Lots of other channels seem to add extra nonsense to make the video more creepy or thrilling.

The way it works is: the Feds got tabs on everyone from multiple angles, i.e. phones, computers, library book rentals (yes, its true), digital transactions, social media, etc. But they don't read into everyone's details, rather only specific individuals on whom they have a suspicion, in which case, their name is highlighted in the system and actively surveilled for specific actions/words. In this case, Afifi and his friends/family had been highlighted, and when the system records any of these individuals mention a specific word from a list (i.e. bomb), it sends red alerts to the Feds. Fun Fact: RU-vid comments dislike button isn't broken. Instead, everytime you click it, it used to develop your personal profile and a picture of your behavior/mood for collection which can be sold to advertisers or shared with authorities.

Of course the case was thrown out. Since when did the people who work for our owners have to justify themselves or be held accountable?

If you're on the internet, you're being monitored. Most of us are only tracked with our phones, which have been so helpfully loaded with extraneous sensors and GPS locators and voice detection that are justified through "conveniences" like being able to say "Hello Google." One question: was anyone clamoring for always on voice listening? Was anyone desperate for location services on every google search and every website for the minor chance that they would want location specific results on that specific search when they could otherwise search the location information themselves? No, of course they didn't, and no one was crazy about those weird "convenience" parlor tricks. But guess what, tech companies started piling them into everything to sell. Here's the thing: Does anyone actually believe that all of that information is being sold to advertisers? Ads don't make nearly enough money to justify the market value of tech giants. There are multiple reasons for this, but simply compare the size of the advertising market with the actual market value of tech companies. If tech companies were even expected to make a majority of their money from selling info to the ad market, this wouldn't be so lopsided. They openly work with governments and get funding from governments. The US military and intelligence agencies openly invest in and work with these companies and have for years, and the fact that there are so many occurrences of the FBI coming after people for threatening messages or posts tells you that they are always monitoring these. The CIA has been known to astroturf on social media to try to destabilize countries since at least the Arab Spring, and those "Color Revolutions" in 2011 were reported at the time as watershed moments of Social Media being used to help people find freedom. Of course, it was apparent at the time, and later only became more obvious, that these were Islamist movements funded by the CIA and organized to help eliminate leaders that the US was hostile, or at least ambivalent towards. The Muslim Brotherhood was completely whitewashed in a non-stop media frenzy telling us that "we must have misunderstood them in the past, they're really freedom fighters, not militant islamists!" Until the moment that Qaddafi was killed in Libya and they took power in Egypt. All the while, CIA social media posts about the "freedom fighters" in Syria and Libya were almost always directed at English speaking audiences. Combine this with the fact that most mass shooters have had run-ins with the police or the FBI and were "cleared" despite constant red flags that they were going to attack, or that several mass shooters were actively encouraged by their FBI contacts who were supposedly trying to "keep cover," and compare that to the "Strategy of Tension" in Operation Gladio, and it becomes apparent that all social media is bugged, and constant misinformation and support for terrorist attacks are *allowed*, rather than simply being missed. This doesn't mean that domestic terrorists are false-flags, but rather that they are permitted or encouraged upon the basis of other interests. All of this to say that yes, you are in an FBI database, that the FBI has not stopped keeping massive folders on people considered enemies or threats just because Hoover died, and that they have actively coordinated with Social Media giants for years to fund research and developments that encourage more data collection, and that, you guessed it, the US is only concerned with Chinese "data mining" because they don't have direct access/control over information not going through US internet infrastructure (also because Chinese companies selling finished quality goods is a serious threat to Neo-imperialism, which depends on components being made in the third world and sold as finished goods by the first world), rather than out of privacy concerns.

True stories about spooks are far more terrifying than dubious stories about ghosts.

im currently on federal house arrest and they just pinged my phone and picked me up about 2 months ago i didnt even know i had been indicted it was and still is the craziest thing thats ever happpened to me

By the end of the video I remembered this weird thing that happened to me a few years back when I was in high school. I was with my friend, we hanged for a bit and then I drove him home. I was driving my dad's car (didn't have my own). Just as I pulled over to drop off my friend, I noticed in my mirror that a big black pickup truck stopped right behind me. Cars of this type are very unusual where I live (a very small city in the middle of europe). My friend got off, went to his flat and I waited a bit, maybe 30 seconds, or a minute. Constantly looking in my mirror if the driver of the pickup is going to get out or what, if this was just a coincidence that he happened to park right behind me at the same time as me. So the minute passes and I'm like, okay, there is a small roundabout in front of me, which I would usually leave at third exit. Now, for the sake of experiment, let's make a full round and get out of it the same way I went in. So I move from when I was parked and the pickup moves immediately after me. My heart starts to race a bit. I enter the roundabout, make a full round, come out the way I came in. The pickup follows me. At this point I'm in a full on panic mode. I floor it and try to lose the truck by speeding in a section of the road that is in the shape of an S, which followed next. I come out of the S shaped road, got to an intersection and from there onto a long straight main road. I slowed down. I could have gotten off of the main road if I wanted to (to keep fleeing) but I wanted to see if I was still being followed. So I kept driving on the straight road, looking in the mirror, looking for the truck. It never showed up after that (the intersection I came out was the only exit off of that S shaped street, which means he must have noticed I noticed him, stopped and made a U turn). I asked my dad (since it was his car that I was driving) if he knew anyone with a black pickup. He said he didn't. Later, my friend which I was dropping off said he also noticed I was being followed by that truck, so it wasn't just in my head. Just as I'm writing this I realized that back then I didn't make one obvious connection (I guess when it happened I was a bit shook and... honestly I don't know why I didn't make this connection in my head, maybe it was a different car, I seen it only in my mirror). Since the type of the car is so rare where I live, surely I must have seen it before or after this incident. And I sure did. I know where the fucker lives actually. But I cannot just come knocking at his door. But I know a person who lives very close, maybe I'll ask him if he hasn't noticed any shady big-black-pickupy things that his neighbor may be doing.
