I am a member of one of the local churches and I attend worship service almost every week. There is something very special about being in the midst of all the other people who are also feeling accepted and peaceful. Sometimes I can feel the power of the Holy Spirit lifting me up and making all the things I was fretting over earlier in the morning fade away, like that my pants are too tight, or that I am running low on some kind of grocery item and I need to get some more. That is one of the arguments against listening to a service via podcast or attending an online church - you are not part of a community as much. Such methods are good if you are under the weather or otherwise can't make it out of your home and they do help you keep the batteries charged or make you think, but they aren't as powerful as being in the same presence as others who are all focused on the same thing.

What a nice episode, I like Father's common sense and ability to see through the seductive , illusory and oppressive things in life.It's a common theme isn't it?! I used to think one could just breeze through, but in retrospect I see from my failings, that practice and persistence is needed, also reinforcement from people who love and value you. Don't be afraid of suffering either, you grow stronger and gain wisdom, you learn about forgiveness and humility. There is meaning to it. Don't be too anxious or afraid then. Once you lock into that beam of spiritual energy and love , it keeps working for you through thick or thin. I love his message about unconditional love, completely. Religious claims of 'heaven' are unprovable and are therefore just assertions but are being presented to us as facts. Why not presenting those unprovable claims as assertions, which they are? Why presenting them as truths?

Happy birthday. It's mine too and I just recently found your channel. Interesting to see another person's journey who's been in this world for the same exact amount of time to the day.

Isaiah 41 v 10.....to know Jehovah he draws us individually to him......A person must be Honest ..Humble and Hungry to find truth ....the truth that Jehovah God will give you and when you know Jehovah he will educate you on a higher level of wisdom.....Godly wisdom surpasses all human wisdom ....he alone can give you a true hope and future ....he has a will ....and it's about to happen .....

Religion is antiquated, it holds back the human race from seeing the truth of what we can become. We are our own "god" in our own mind - thats if your mentally strong enough to accept that.

God has a plan for everyone but he can't do anything until the individual opens the door and lets him in.God is not religious man is.

I enjoyed this video until the end...IF you can turn around? There's a cost, a surrender. I hope he means that if you turn around, repent, then you will be able to be the person that you truly are. The person that God intended you to be. And not if you turn around God will love you as you are. That is conditional love. Conditional love is not love at all.
