Uhm Jung-hwa is amazing. She had thyroid can and her vocals chords where damaged during surgery. It was heartbreaking to see her struggle at first when hitting the higher notes. The producer, Jimmy Yu Aka Yoo Jae Suk for this project got her vocal lessons so she could practice and improve more. Oh, and they were also the first girl group too get 100 perfect all kills for one song. Name comes from the idea that they are so bad ass and intimidating that they could be able to get a refund everytime they asked for it...

I have been waiting for this reaction from y'all. This is the song that introduced me to Jessi. Grown women representing 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's. It would be amazing if the other 3 joined Mamamoo on tour and they sang this during the concert. I'll still enjoy Mamamoo. Cannot wait till May 24th😊😊😊😊😊 I wish Refund Sisters had more songs. I bet they'd kill each and every one of them. 4 bad ass, fearless women.

Refund sisters is made from their reality show yall should check it out. The show is so fun and really grown woman time. Basically in that show they are sharing what is the difference idol life in their era because they are got popular in different years.

When Hwasa entered the studio to record this song, the producers sat back & started eating their lunch cuz they were so awed,they said Hwasa was already a master at vocals so she didn't even need none of their advice, she did everything in one go & she added her own adlibs throughout the song 🔥

Yep Lee Hyori will FOREVER be THAT B*TCH!! Truly a freakin' girl crush!! Perfection, role model, EVERYTHING!! 🙌✨🫶🥵 The group was formed on the MBC program "Hangout with Yoo" or "How do you play?" But idk who financed everything lol There are a couple of seasonal groups formed in that program haha just last couple of weeks they formed a new one with the help of the (also) OGs Teen Top!! And it truly was a hell of a throwback and very emotional seeing them perform their hits once again!! 😭 It's actually a really good variety show and it gives these kind of opportunities to people that maybe are not that known anymore because of nowadays idols' popularity!

Korean people found fthe fountain of youth, their genes are amazing. The 52 years old lady loves surffing, too hahaha! that's her hobby. She never got married, she says that she loves her freedom (talking about cultural things, you know ! Women often assume the responsibility of raising children, pushing them to have to choose between working or being mothers, so most women sacrifice their careers once they have a child or get married, this is changing but slowly) Refund Sister was a short project but with a good result. Lee Hyori is like Jessi a wild spirit, she's married now but her husband is like her a musician, they live in Jeju Island and have a sort of hippie lifestyle full of nature and peacefullness.

Jessi wasn't supposed to be in the original line up. Lee Hyori (42 y.o.) asked Uhm Jung Hwa (52 y.o.), CL (32 y.o.) and Hwasa (27 y.o.) to be the original Refund Sisters but CL couldn't do it because she was busy finishing her long awaited debut album so she asked Jessi to replace CL.

lol what the f*ck that's not true you are literally making a story in your head, even in 2007 jessi and lee hyori was about a make group like a destiny child but because jessi left the korea they couldn't make it also when they mention the group on a tv her(lee hyori) first choice was jessi .Lee hyori and Jessi know each other way back then

@@fenris3373 Sorry if you believe everything scripted and edited made for RU-vid variety shows present. Long before this episode was filmed and aired Lee Hyori said many times that she would like to form a group of four women who she herself called queens including Uhm Jung Hwa, CL and Hwasa. When CL couldn't join, naturally Jessi was hinted to Lee Hyori by Jaesuk since it's his show and he's all chummy with Jessi. Preparing for your own solo album without the help from or being signed to a label is much harder and busier than Jessi who was just promoting her already released album. Notice Jessi isn't a part tvn and Lee Hyori's new show and group Dance Singer Wandering Troupe, while Hwasa and Uhm Jung Hwa are, along with BOA and Kim Wan Sun? Maybe Lee Hyori asked Jessi but she was too busy focusing on her own thing like CL was so she asked BOA and Kim Wan Sun...
