Since I arrived in 1988 all my in-laws they were Hawthorn supporters fanatics expect the grand father was Richmond so since that day I was a Richmond supporter and I never stopped supporting them trough the bad and the good so I can say I am proud to be a Richmond 👍
That's the spirit! It would have been way too easy to jump on the Hawks bandwagon at that time considering they had one of the greatest teams ever and made their 6th grand final in a row that year and won the flag again. Well done to you for being a loyal Tiger.
Im in tears followed this club since I was 3 years old im now 26. Just knowing the adversity the club has faced this year in 2020 that real us vs the world mentality. This vision has put me at ease know we a definitely going to pull through and win the flag again I have no doubt in my mind how can we not with the leaders we have around the club. Up the mighty tigers #YELLOW&BLACK
For me nothing will ever beat being on level four in 2017 for that grand final as I’ve been a Richmond supporter nearly my whole life but I loved being there in 2019 it was a much louder crowd and was amazing and I will never forget it. I was at the 2018 preliminary final and when I left that game I felt sick to my stomach because I thought to myself like what do we do now we’ve found our match and from then on it was a revenge story. At the time I didn’t realise how important the man Tom Lynch was to our club that year coming over from the suns and had no preseason and didn’t look great at seasons start then just turned on after that if you had of said to me at the start of that season Tom Lynch played every single game I’d be in shock. I just love how he adjusted so quickly and I’ll never his 5 goals in the prelim. Then that round one game when rancey went down I just thought like this Is going to hard to do this without Alex Rance, and then Jack, Dusty , Shorty, Cotch and others went down injured and it was just looking really bad for us at that stage and then being 7-6 at the bye I really thought we were out of it. Then after the bye we got a number of players back and just seemed unstoppable after that, beating GWS, Port, Collingwood, West Coast and Brisbane in the process. Then the final in Brisbane I thought was going to be really hard to do as they had the home advantage but we put in a phenomenal performance and tore them apart from QT onwards. Then prelim night came along and like most tigers fans I thought oh boy here we go again another unfortunate prelim loss. But then at the start of the third cotch laid a tackle, Prestia gave a fantastic pass and Tom Lynch did the rest. From then on we had the game won and remarkably made it through to another grand final. Then the big day came and I was never really worried about the Giants beating us and right from the opening bounce it proved my beliefs right. I’ll always remember 19, for Marlion Picketts dream debut but the number one highlight for me in that grand final is Cotchin’s Goal. 2019 was a extremely challenging year for him, he had his third child, he had three hamstrings which really had us panicked about whether it would happen again but that moment when he jumped after that goal is one of my all time favourite footy moments. So yet again I’ll never forget the year 2019 we fought through injury, suspension but we broke through with resilience and redemption #tiges2019 #gotiges
West Coast should be thankful to Collingwood for beating Richmond in that prelim because the Eagles never would've been able to do it in the grand final. Greatest footy gift of all time, or equal with Carlton paving the way for North by beating the rampaging Essendon in a prelim in 1999.
@@truefunksoul8638 west coast were thankful when they dismantled your club in 2018. Think it was to the tune of 50+ before they got bored. On topic of easy rides though, you played GWS and Adelaide in home GFs against interstate clubs. Didn't you stay at home for 3 months before that GF also? Yeah, west Coast have it easy right. Calm down, wasn't west coasts fault you couldn't beat Collingwood 🙄 Pfft
Bombers fan since 83 but tigers are my second team. Does anyone else think any player who plays a game during the season should get a medal? Heart breaking to see guys get hurt fighting for a win and miss out
Funny how a toy box isn't any fun anymore. Jumped ship, burn out....... Great coach, but . Love of the challenge. Thanks Dimma, gold coast are now my second team .
"Like the Tiger of old" The official re-recorded song was wrong for a while but they've changed it back. The "risking head and shin" line has also been restored from 'head and skin' which most young fans were getting wrong as well.
