Out of probably like 50 redesign videos I've seen, these are the most original designs so far. Everyone does the same thing for every MLP character and it's gotten boring. Ty for this vid
*me watching video* these designs are amazing! How many subscribers does this person have? *304* EXCUSE ME. WTF YOU ARE SO U N D E R R A T E D ???????? JESUS OMGGGGG NAH KEEP GOING YOURE FLUFFIN AMAZING!!! you now have another subscriber, i want more redesigns!!
The way i found this too early to be able to binge the whole series is TRAGIC. the designs are gorgeous and I absolutely love the thought that goes into them that still stays true to the character, I'm SO excited to see what you do with the rest of the mane six! also the way you speak is so casual and satisfying, I greatly enjoy it.
Beautiful.. i like Fluttershy design including her hairstyle and body type, but i think I'll love it more if you give her coat and hair colors more contrast. I like twilight's colors better, but i prefer fluttershy's figure
this was one of the videos that played as i was drawing - i tuned in half way through the fluttershy design and ayooo? one the re-design is stunning i really like the warmer colorpallate or more uh muted? to - IDk art words yk anyway it was really stunning and i absolutely love your style?? it feels really soft and BUBBILY /pos also can i just say i-- after tuning in re-played this from the begining cuz yk now im invested (despite not really being into mlp) and this iS Your first timE DOIN SOMETHIN LIKE THIS?? your voice is reallyyyyy funky to listen too //and your funky lil character is SOPINK SOB im noticin a theme and if your favorite color aint pink imma have to rethink my life /j right- welp ive rambled enough have a good day/night (HELPI DIDNTMEAN FOR IT TO BE THIS LONG OF A RAMBLE SOB) grade my essay? outta 10 yk
LMFAO THANK U SO MUCHH and yes pink is my fav color next to periwinkle... the two colors i will never shut up about EVER!! grading ur essay You made me Laugh and Smile/10
@@pentarune first of all tyty thats an amazing grade id like to thank that random guy at the bus-stop second PERIWINKLE?? im more impressed that you can spell it and also SLIGHTLY BETRAYED YOU HOLD IT IN HIGHER REGARD THAN PINK SOB
4:08 lol i was the exact opposite. i didnt like pinkie pie cause she was so extroverted and loud and i was super quiet and shy like fluttershy but now i appreciate and think pinkie is cool too lol
Out of so many mlp redesign videos, I've seen a lot of kind of repetitive ones, not copying others' designs, but using familiar traits. So this is like the most original and I love it!
Your design are beautiful and original and i love them! And the colors are great For me I would change the bows into flowers for fluttershy and get rid of the ponytail on her hair. I would change twilight's tail and give her a half up half down hair style and give her silver necklace
I love how anime-like your designs are, I clearly see why you said that you took Vocaloid inspiration while drawing them and I enjoy it. My inner weeb child enjoyed this video so much. I'm curious tho, where did you learn that silver is better for magic than gold? I love reading about fantasy science things but I don`t know where I can read or listen (I usually listen to world-building ideas, or pet peeves fantasy authors or DnD players have about the "normal" magic system) more about it.
tysm! i learned from my mom that silver is better for magic than gold, because she used to be a full fledged witch, studied witchcraft for years, all that stuff.. not sure where she learned it exactly but i just heard it from her!
I’m absolutely in love with Twilight’s redesign. I actually like how you added silver accessories instead of gold, cause I’ve seen a lot of redesigns and it’s always yellow or gold details, at first I liked it but now I’m sick of it, so I like this design very much. Fluttershy is also gorgeous
Where did u get the information on the gold/silver jewelry and the long hair thing u talked about, I don't remember anything about that from the show so I'm curious as to where u learnt that!
oh its not from the show its related to actual witchcraft and magic 😭 my mom used to be big into witchcraft and i also got into it a bit myself before backing out so i had done my own research in the past about it (reading actual books on witchcraft) + already having some of my mom's knowledge, i just applied some of what i know to twilight's design here :D
LOL im not 100% sure how true the silver thing is so take it w a grain of salt i just learned it from my mom who was into genuine witchcraft for a long while but idk where she learned it from 😭
These designs are absolutely pretty and unique! However, I do have to admit that I didn't exactly find the commentary favorable The topic you'd speak of over the designs were nice, but the way you'd specifically go along with it felt slow and admittedly a bit lazy in explanation (which is okay if the designs in specific didn't actually have a lot thought put into it!), which for me, made it kind of hard to keep paying attention to without losing track in the middle of your explanations and instead just paying more attention to the speed-paint which I rarely do, as I love to hear the thoughts behind the art from the creators. My only tip for you that I'd suggest is attempting to be more coherant and speak more confidently of your art to help keep viewers who watch more dedicated. Preparing scripts to state your thoughts can help a lot, as other art commentary channels also do this!
YYEAAH im 100% new to commentary and speaking is a bit hard for me in general (autistic) but this vid was esp bad bc i didnt have any script written or sticky notes to like read topics off of like ive been doing now 😭 thank u for the advice tho i am trying to get better at commentary AUH
@@pentarune no worries! I can actually see you improving a little in commentary in your part 2 of mlp designs, as you spoke way more excitedly and confidently in those designs! I can't wait to see how much you improve
i make a layer for the eyes and then duplicate it, hide one of the layers, erase where the eye is under the hair, select that layer with the "select opacity" button and delete it from the duplicated layer, then turn the transparency down on the duplicated layer where the eye would be under the hair, then i just merge the layers together... sorry if this sounds confusing LOL
WHA.... WHY ARE YOU SO UNDERATTED, IK SO MANY PEOPLE *(two people😭💀)* SAID THAT BUT YOU REALLY ARE UNDERATTED!!!! Also, I *LOVE* your artttt❤️❤️❤️ :3 (also pls do applejack and pinkie :3)
When redesigning My Little Pony characters, consider these steps: 1 Understand the Essence: Begin by understanding the essence of the My Little Pony franchise. What values, themes, and messages do the characters convey? This includes elements like friendship, magic, and individuality. 2 Audience Analysis: Analyze your target audience. Are you redesigning for existing fans or a new generation? Understand their preferences, demographics, and expectations. 3 Character Analysis: Evaluate existing My Little Pony characters. What aspects of their designs resonate with the audience, and what elements might need updating? Consider factors like color schemes, personalities, and symbolism. 4 Market Research: Research current trends in character design, both within the My Little Pony fandom and in broader pop culture. Identify successful redesigns in other franchises for inspiration. 5 Define Objectives: Clearly define your objectives for the redesign. Are you aiming to refresh the brand, attract new fans, or appeal to a specific demographic? Align your redesign goals with these objectives. 6 Brainstorming: Generate ideas for the redesign through brainstorming sessions. Encourage creativity and explore various directions while keeping the essence of My Little Pony in mind. 7 Concept Development: Develop concept sketches or digital renderings of potential character redesigns. Experiment with different styles, shapes, and features to find what works best. 8 Feedback Loop: Seek feedback from stakeholders, including fans, colleagues, and industry professionals. Use their input to refine your designs and ensure they resonate with the target audience. 9 Iterative Design Process: Iterate on your designs based on feedback received. Refine elements such as colors, expressions, and accessories to create visually appealing and engaging characters. 10 Story Integration: Integrate the redesigned characters into compelling narratives and storylines. Ensure that their personalities and appearances align with the storytelling goals of the franchise.
