@@some_dude_maybe Water type is an umbrella term for multiple aqua-related stuff. It COULD be about fishes, but it could also be about typhoons, waterfalls, water guns, washing machines, or even other animals that aren’t fish, like jellyfish or the starters
I have no clue what your talking about. Vaporeon if very clearly a fox-fish. Also, it’s not that hard to make a dragon type eeveelution. Dragons come in all sorts of shapes and stuff, and can have everything from scales to feathers to fur, and I tend to think dragons look like if a mix of horse and dog got scales and wings, just in vague body shape.

Quakeon reminds me of Jolteon but more rounded, more packed, more sturdy and defensive. It feels fitting, considering the relationship between Ground and Electric.
Bottleon’s tail actually reminds me of certain species of leafhopper nymphs, young insects that have long, bristly tails made out of waxy secretions used to fool predators, similar to how some species skink have bright blue tails- so predators bite the tail and the rest of the animal can get away
boxeon is far and away my fav! it feels like the most creative fighting type eeveelution i’ve seen and makes actual sense for a fighting type eeveelution !! the normal type eeveelution was also really good, and reminds me of Reds Eevee from the pokémon manga! rescued from team rocket and could change between the three eeveelutions at will due to experimentation by rocket, it later evolved permanently into an espeon in johto
Bottleon is the best poison eevee I've ever seen, it reminds me of a bottle of poison, with the a skull and crossbones, but specifically reminds me of a Pesticide bottle, which brings in my second idea, it's tail reminds me a ton of Plant Hopper Nymphs, which are common pests. But I could also see it as a Hymenoptera (Ants, Bees, wasp) Stinger.
Sphinxeon is so well-designed, I wish that was the real rock-type eeveelution! Most fanmade rock-types ones I see are just an eeveelution shape covered in rocks, this is so much more interesting! Antennaeon and Morpheon are also very cute and work well as designs and concepts!
Even though these started as jokes they are all really fucking cool and way more creative than the average fan eeveelutions The bug type eevee legit looks like one of those papillon dogs which really fits as papillon means butterfly
It's funny that you both called Boxeon a cat 'cause my immediate thought on seeing the finished drawing was "Bulldog" EDIT: Which is also interesting because in middle school I tried to make a Fighting-Type Eeveelution and it eventually became its own unique bulldog-esque Pokemon.
Yes they can work, but the thing is, how many people will say Altaria or Mega Ampharos, for example, look like Dragons? Even Drampa got a bit of that. So for an Eevee evolution, it's trickier to use fur to represent the Dragon type. But also… Spyro-Drakeon doesn't have any fur!
those were all great! i love the normal fighting and bug the most. for the dragon type w the reptilian vs mammal thing i would have the tail end fin/spike thing be a tuff of fur! just a small thing i think would make it more mammalian
Boxeon really does look the best. I hope it gets Rock Head as an ability (if it were to exist in a fangame) given it is supposed to be a punching glove and boxing glove are meant to repeated hits so Rock Head would make the most sense
...I kinda want to see a rom hack region where every pokemon is an eeveelution. Not just 18 diffrent evolutions but like... 7 different forms for each type. There should be enough fanart of the unused types to swing it.
The poison design is my favorite. It looks sleek and would stand out along the eveelutions we currently have. The bug and ground types were close seconds for me tho.
Your Antennaeon is the most accurately official looking design I've seen of all bug Eeveelution designs. I still like my Venezeon, but I don't think anything can beat your Antennaeon! Drakeon, despite being literally just Eevee's head on Spyro's body, you made it into easily my favourite interpretation of a Dragon Eeveelution. Though I suppose half of that goes to Spyro for having a great design already. My design for a Dragon Eeveelution is essentially Snarf from ThunderCats, but I like it because of the balance between mammalian and reptilian traits! I'll admit that because of the source of reference makes it hard to picture it as a combat species, but I don't wanna give up on it! Boxeon. Easily the silliest one in design concept, but I love how you made it work not only as a Pokemon design, but as an Eeveelution! I'm still bent on making mine based on mixing different fighting dog breeds, and making it able to stand upright without anyone freaking out or throwing a hissy fit! Soreon I'm going with a griffon based design too, but I'm still working out what features and colors I want. You design is OK with what you had to work with, but unlike Antennaeon who I definitely can see and want to be canon, along with Drakeon and Boxeon who I definitely wouldn't mind were official, I'm really not sold on with Soreon. It's not a bad design, not at all! I'm just not sold on this interpretation. S Morpheon I so want this. If it's weather forms and just like Castform's then I am 100% on board! I'm still going to try my hands with "Normaleon", "Eeveeon", "Progresseon", and "Finaleon", but this interpretation of Morpheon is absolutely sitting besides these little critters!
I watched this expecting this video to have millions of views or at least a few hundred thousand, this definitely deserves it. Boxeon and Spectreon are probably my favourites, Morpheon is great too! I mean they’re all great but these are the 3 I felt were the best.
I really love the concept you went with for Quakeon. Such a good idea for a ground type in general I’m surprised we haven’t seen. But loved how they all turned out! Also I’ve always thought there should be a Normal type Eeveelution, so Morpheon is cool!
@@UmbreonLibris It's both its tail and its fin. Those things combined scream "dolphin" and a side from the head and legs I think it looks fairly dolphin-like, it's also the color they used. It's blue, and some dolphins are blue-grey
Boxeon is one of my favorite fakemon designs of all time, out of all the ones I've seen. It really shows how far you can go when making a fakemon that still looks great.
boxeon, antennaeon, and morpheon are REALLY REALLY COOL, i think spectreon and quakeon would be phenomenal if they weren't so similar to existing eevee, spikeon and soreon are pretty cool but idk im just not feelin em, i dont like sphinxeon at all (i cant put my finger on WHAT i dont like about it, but something just seems... off) and drakeon's literally spyro overall you did a good job on these, i really enjoyed hearing you go over your design processes and inspirations for these, i hope to see more stuff like this :)

Spectreon, Morpheon, Boxeon, Soreon and Quakeon were my favourites, but they were all great! And Ethan, don't be disappointed - your weird and wonderful mind came up with these beautiful beasts! ☺️
Morbeon - the bullshit vampire Pokémon Typing: Dark/Normal Morbeon is a powerful Pokémon able to morb all over whomever attacks it, in addition to being a vampire. However, Morbeon has been confused to its life path and where it seeks to feed on prey so it takes up residence anywhere and anywhere for only days at a time. Ability: Impostor (both to reference older vampiric abilities of shapeshifting and the fact that Morbius’s movie direction is very unclear. It also means you would rarely see Morbeon the Pokémon for that extra sting of the meme Morbius the movie really is). Moves learned naturally: explosion, Misty explosion, transform, Absorb, Roleplay, tackle, Double Team. Learns no other moves.

Once I designed a Eeveelution my friend (and crush for some freaking reason) for fighting, called Champeon. I made the entire thing in ms paint, and drew a really good hand somehow. I printed it out and gave it to him, and he gave it back the next day XD
The fact that you were able to successfully make a cute looking bug type eeveelution and not some horrifying bug-dog eldritch abomination is super impressive
Yo, that Spectreon design is hella rad! That'd definitely be my pick out of this bunch~ Though I imagine they'd pull some sort of shenanigans with it in-game -- like having it be the only Eeveelution to not learn Shadow Ball or...something frustrating in a similar vein. :B I am, admittedly, rather perplexed by your take on Vaporeon though. How different it is from all the other Eeveelutions makes it stand out in a positive way, I feel. Heck, from an in-game perspective I'd say it's miraculous for other Eeveelutions to have remained as consistent with each other as they have, especially for evolving from a creature described as having an unstable genetic structure! And aren't fish essentially synonymous with water?? Or, maybe there's a fish Pokémon that isn't at least part water type at this point -- I certainly don't have them all memorized. Even so... Anyhow -- you put in a lot of work for to do artings, and I really liked the Ghost Eeveelution you came up with. So thank you for that!
All the eeveelutions look beautiful! This video reminds me of when me and a friend came up with crystaleon the rock type eeveelution. Looks like a glass cannon with a shine, but is a tank.
I’m glad you changed the face shape for a lot of them! No offense at all to fakemon artists, but I feel like the sylveon face shape (very round smooth) is used as the base for many fake eeveelutions. It doesn’t look bad or anything but a big eeveelution design factor in my eyes in having *different* faces to set them all apart. Yours are great!
i would love a dragon eevee, i didn't really like this dragon eevee design but i really loved Morpheon, the flying eevee, i really love the ground type eevee and the ghost type eevee aswell, i feel like the rock type could have something else.. like it's not really supposed to be a sphinx.. but these idea's are really cool and i do see those idea's and stuff put into the game itself... my most favorite is Bolteon, i just love it's design and wished i could just take it as an oc and make beautifull art with it
Insect wings are an extension of the exosceleton, so it wouldn't have been so out of place for the bug type to be quadropedal, but still have wings on its' back.
Boxeon and Morpheon are my favorites by far, I LOVE them!! Boxeon is such a cute little chunk of a guy, and Morpheon is a PERFECT design. I also really like Antenneon, especially with dem big ears :)

Now I'm curious about your take on the Pokémon Wack Eeveelutions, and their original Pokémon in general but the Eeveelutions are the most relevant to this video. You're really good at making shitpost designs into legitimately great ones.
@@UmbreonLibris That's fair. Most of the game's sprites are drawn in MS Paint, with the quality that implies, but there are some fan-submitted sprites, usually edits.
For offensive steel type pokemon we have a pokemon with the LITERAL worst abilities in pokemon and the pokemon who got banned in the tier with banned pokemon.
So, I got an idea for how to get Spectreon if it was ever added. If a Flareon faints, you have twenty minutes to get it to a pokemon center or pc before the time is up. This timer pauses when battles occur. If you are in a pokemon center when the time runs out, you will get an alert that "(insert flareons name here) is evolving", allowing them to gives you the alert "(insert flareons name here) has died" evolving them into Spectreon. Alternitavley, it can evolve from any eveeloution which gives it a different form based on the eveeloution it evolved from.
Fun fact: Umbreons sweet is actually very poisonous, and when it becomes agitated it creates sweat and sprays it's opponent in the eyes poisoning them while it escapes, and in HG/SS umbreon was originally a poison type so thats why he has poisonous sweat.
I LOVE MORPHEON They could be a reverse mimikyu in the sense that they try to distinguish themselves from eevees by using clay facemasks and they get angry at trainers for mistaking them for eevees because they think highly of themselves theyre cute little narcisists that can hang out with every pokemon type thanks to its adapting ability, making them a social butterfly and maybe they get caught in loops where they try to get bigger and stronger pokemon to like them too so you have these tiny beans adamant on fighting like a tyranitaur to prove itself lmao theyre literally just so special they dont want to be a normal type when they can be anything else
Antennaeon I imagine how old attacks like with any kind of clapping like move is using its big wing ears and slapping the opponent with them… just clapping them out of existence I am going to make Morpheon a real thing in my little Eeveelution series
I kinda like the idea of a normal type evolution for eevee. I could think of two ways that could work with one being really interesting. first one is the basic way of using a item/stone to evolve it, the alt way would be to have a ditto be in the team next to it and for it and from there it could either just need to level up or see ditto transform a certain number of times to learn to evolve with the environment/situation.
My video froze at the black canvas after the initial spectreon name came up, and I thought that was just the design. I'm over here thinking, yeah, that's fair
Eevee should evolve into Morpheon after defeating 10 dittos or castforms. Also spectreon when you use a Tomb stone on it, as a refrence to the meme about using a tomb stone to evolve eevee into a ghost type. Sphinxeon when use a Aincient stone, found by answering the 3 riddles of a Sphinx found buried under the desert inside a Dig Site, where the ground type gym is located. You have to beat the gym to get to the sphinx, as the gym leader is the Manager and people are only let into the digsite when the manager gives permission.
Okay Fixing the abilities: Steel- Prevents all types of terrain from forming. Ghost- always able to switch out no matter if it’s binded or shit. Poison- creates a terrain that damages all non poison, rock or steel types (does double damage to grass, bug and fairy types (basically hail/sandstorm) Bug- terrain boosts all bug moves. Dragon- boosts its attack by one stage every time it uses a dragon type move and it hits (speed boost but different). Fighting: When hurt, it’s attack is raised by 1 stage. (Recoil damage counts towards this)
Continuation: Flying- Using flying moves heals it to an equivalent of leftovers. Ground- ground type moves do .5x damage (2x is a bit much) Rock- when summoned it’s abilty causes a 3 turn trick room that also boosts rock type moves (it has a high defense and like 0 speed so it always goes first during trick room) Normal- Changes type depending on weather/terrain. (New poison terrain counts towards this too)
Here are some of my childhood ideas Galiumeon ( Steel type ) Ability: Solidify Turn Galiumeon into a wall when using protect, stat raising or status moves, which increase its defense and sp defense by 1.5 but halven its speed Turn Galiumeon into liquid when using sp att / atk moves, increase sp atk by 1.5 and return into its normal speed Design: A semiliquid eevee thats very slow Scaleon (Dragon) Ability: Shed skin / Thick Fat Design, it lives in the cold water, its body eventually grow scales from the swimming and hunting, this pokemon has high speed and high atk Buggeon Ability: Sharp Edge If the foe made contact with Buggeon, the foe will decrease its health (If Buggeon use protect the foe still receive damage) Design: this pokemon is once just a normal eevee, but really likes to eat berry, and cover itself with leaves, eventually the leaves got stuck and harden. a super defensive cacoon like pokemon similar to pupitar, high def stat and super slow Signature move: Bug Will’s The user will got motivated, Raises Speed by 1.5 and lower the foe def by 1.5
