Had anyone here tried already update 4.0? it is a really fun game, at least for me.

I can't wait to pick this up on some crazy sale one day, especially now that they announced an offline mode update

I kinda liked it after the update, especially the vibe and environment, but yeah it isn’t GOTY material.

The assets for this could have been flipped into a teaditional arkane game a mini arkane joint but nah austin was killed because Bethesda wanted a live service from arkane fml.

I remember a friend telling me “it’s good, but you gotta play the game !” Bro I played that thing for like 5 hours and felt I wasted my time. I tried another two hours. Still hated it. I really tried to like it and I couldn’t. The game was so boring lifeless and had nothing fun to do. I tried, I really did. Then I figured I’ll come back in one year, to now see this video tell me it still sucks. Wow…..I’ll try it one more time but if I don’t have fun I’m just going to give up non it entirely. I’ll gladly play starfield over this. I know it’s far from bethesdas best but at least I got to enjoy the gameplay and I had a somewhat decent world to explore in there. Redfall truly has a serious status of awful that I don’t even think starfield touches. Starfield is a ok game but Redfall truly sucks. Suicide squad level bad

I think its a decent game. It takes you to pretty cool locations. And gunplay feels good.

it could of been incredible. i followed this game for years and i was absolutly heart broken.

I read the title and assumed you were being negative, and honest, but then I realised that this title could also just be a pun. My curiosity now demands I watch to know the answer. 0:32 - Happy to hear I wasn't the only one who felt this. It feels like Red Fall came and was shut down three or so years ago. Bizarre to know it's still being worked on and is only a year old. 1:53 - Which is the worst thing against it. A buggy game can still be entertaining, but a bland game? Now that is a lot harder. 3:39 - Either this a testament to your skill or a sign of how underwhelming your first vampire encounter can be. For a horror themed game, such an easily dealt with foe doesn't inspire much fear. 4:57 - On the plus side, at least this sniper viewpoint captures a hilarious moment. 6:47 - Agreed; the town itself looks lovely. Unless the vampires operated like an Umbrella style organisation though and it being intertwined with various town history/events, I'm not sure how interesting it could be though, at least when focused on such a recent/modern timing and setting. 7:48 - Did... did this boss just baah like a sheep? That's the roar they chose for this vampire?

This game is still shocking. I wish I could have hung in a little longer to get to see some of that world. So much style and hard work wasted. It's a terrible shame.

Me:... ooh crap.. it got worse... they shut down the studio AND they cancelled the promised DLC... and the promised offline mode isn't coming. But hey... at least the servers are still up... but with no offline mode... once the servers go down then that means... oh crap, it's going to get even worse!!

I might reinstall Redfall one day

It’s a shame, it does look pretty decent graphically but it’s a very dull game. Feel bad for the devs, even they didn’t want to do it. It is just not their style of game.

I remember watching a game preview a few years back during one of their showcases when I knew nothing of the game. During this preview the character was entering the church area, it was dark, the music was luminous and I thought “oh man we’re getting a Condemned type game for Xbox”. Then all of a sudden this toon looking vampire enemy pops up on the screen, and it was at that point I knew the game was doomed and skipped the rest of the preview.

It's probably too much effort to make this game good. The fundamentals are not good. The setting is the only cool thing in the game.

This game isn’t cyberpunk or battlefield. Those games had good gameplay but broken mechanics and bugs. This game is just awful, not fun at all. There no redemption for this game cause you would need to redo it all

This video is ALREADY redundant. The game was disappointing at launch and had it's problems, but was always a solid if unspectacular looter/shooter. Now with the updates and improvements it is a solid 8/10 - nothing great, not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but not the dumpster fire certain content creators desperately try to make it out as in order to glean a few views. Just a good, if not great game from a team that SHOULD have released a great, not good game.
