I’m not a red head, I am a brunette, but my grandfather was Irish and I have inherited that complexion! These tips help me!! I love to use a brown eyeshadow and place it from the middle of my lower lash line to the outer corner of my eyes, instead of black liner under my eyes. I am so thankful for sunscreen.
I'm mixed race (African/European) and redhead, I've noticed that orangy lipsticks don't work at all but brown and pick looks really good, for eyeliner a bright green is a must!
I am a redhead with blue eyes and trying to figure out makeup has been a pain. I also have hooded eyes so trying to balance what looks good is hard to figure out. I gave up trying to figure out makeup when I was younger and most days I wear no makeup or only mascara. But I want to learn!!
As a redhead with blue eyes i fell in love with blue eyeshadow since it's oposite of orange on color wheel. Maybe it's crazy but i like to get outfit ispirations from Winx club cartoon since i have same hair color like Bloom. Olive colors and yellows look great too, but ofcourse you can't miss with browns and nude colors.
I have darker red hair with hazel eyes. I have never really changed my makeup look for years now. I always just use a concealer stick or foundation stick and blend it all over my face, under my eyes where its darker, and then follow up with a bronzer. I've never done anything with my eyebrows either. I could definitely use some tips. Where can I go to get a professional to find the colors/make up I need. I want to have a clean look but also not look super pale. I actually do get pretty tan in the summertime as well. And when I don't use bronzer, i feel like I look horrible but that could just be me. I do use black eye liner on top and bottom and I do agree it looks aggressive in a way. But I've always done my bottom lid because I try to hide my dark circles under my eye lids. Picking out eye shadows. I normally match with my outfits. Light blues, green, started to go with a lighter pink shade and sometimes brown colors. I need helppppp! Haha any suggestions would help. Fresh start. What to buy. I have no clue what I'm doing. Im 32 years old.
I'm a natural redhead with blue eyes who's turning 60 soon. My hair isn't as vibrant as it was when i was younger. I like how I look in make-up and would love to see you do a skin care and make-up tutorial for redheaded ladies with mature skin. My budget is tighter, nowadays, it would be great if you could use drug store products.
That is a great suggestion! Thank you for watching! I have gotten a couple requests for drugstore so coming right up! I've found some awesome products that are affordable and work!
I am a natural red( auburn red).Just turned 40. And I am trying to figure out a new look. Still wearing makeup like I did in my 20's. I have brown eyes. My eye browns are darker though. Like brown. Even though I am a natural red head. Would love to see you do a vidoe. Showing how to do make up.
Thank you so much! Awe I hear you, red hair changes so much and I've definitely found over the years mine has changed to more of a warm strawberry taupe colour!
@@emalee39 I know! I wish I would have known this when I did it. Now my hair is brown in the Winter and only gets so red in the summer after the sun has been on it for a bit. It's nothing like it was. Listen to your Mom and don't do it just buy a wig 😂
I’m. Redhead with very cool toned skin. I highlighted the crap out of my hair for years, because I thought blonde looked better on me. Fortunately, I saw the light and had my hairdresser get me as close to my natural color as possible. My natural color is warm, but not a ton. It’s kind of a sandy red, and the warmer I go, the more it clashes with my skin tone. The color I have now is a red/violet, and I find it suites my cool skin tone very well.
Yes I’m a natural redhead! I always feel like finding foundation is easy because I just pick the lightest shade and sometimes I look so washed out. The hardest thing for me is probably finding a good eyebrow color. I have more auburn hair and there’s only like one eyebrow color for auburn and it’s $40 from MAC. So I currently mix 3 different eyeshadows together lol
I use the fawn nyx eyebrow pencil. I used to chose the one red shade on the range but it looked way to red rather than ginger. So I tried a blondy brown/ fawn shape and it’s perfect
I habe just dyed my blonde hair to ginger and find out, being ginger hair makes makeup for me easier. I have Green eyes, and they pop with my haircolor. However, I love swithing my eyebrow filling color.. I have tinted my sparse brows brown just-for-men beard dye. But I noticed that redbased eyebrow pencil is really good on ne now. I use Lavera "gentle brown" eyebrow pencil,it has slightly tint of red,not too much. Otherwise it is brownbased. And I love it 😍 Very good makeup tips, thank you so much!!
I hear you on this! I want to do a full video on some great lipstick shades for redheads. Is this something you'd be interested in seeing? And if so, do you prefer nudes or would you want to see some bold shades?
I being a natural red head I loved this video I feel like it’s so true everything you said. It’s so funny how many things I already do being a more neutral or yellow undertone. Great video really enjoyed it!
I just bought a red haired wig though i naturally have dark brown hair and cooler eye brows. Glad I found this video to help me feel glam with my new wig ✨
Just watched this video. Gave up on makeup several years ago because it was so hard. I even went to a professional to try and get some tips and I looked AWFUL afterwards. Thank you for these tips, I look forward to trying them.
I need the most help with my eyes. Do you have any videos focused on the eyes? I've always had "see through" skin around my eyes and now that I'm older, fine lines are appearing. My eyes are the hardest.@@FaceByMeagan
Hardest part of makeup as a red haired blue eyed woman is the dark blue ish in the inside corners of my eyes and extending down about a fourth of the way under my eyes. Concealer can't cover it unless you use so much that it ends up looking caked on.
As a natural redhead with green eyes I always thought I had cool undertones because of the pink hues from my cheeks, neck and chest (flushing!). In photos my face looks gray! I'm not sure if I should sway towards yellow or neutral undertone foundations because of this. I very much welcome any tips!!!
Gorgeous combo! Flushing always throws us redheads off hey. I find it more helpful to take a look at if you tan, if you burn first, you're likely a cool or neutral undertone and if you tan (even if it takes a while) you're likely a warm undertone! Would loved to know what specific tips you would find helpful!
I'm having a difficult time finding a good shade of foundation. I wear self-tanner and had been wearing Estee Lauder for the last year (Fresco) and absolutely loved it, but the last bottle I got was atleast two shades lighter, yet they claim they haven't changed anything. Frustrating! Can you share what foundation & shade you are wearing in this video, or which shades you prefer in ANY brand that give the warm glow?
I have natural strawberry blonde hair that has gotten darker and redder with age, green/brown eyes. It has been a real challenge finding a natural brown to put around the eyes that does not look like I am a zombie. Also the foundation in Ivory is best but different brands sometimes have too much pink or yellow in them that I tried going to light instead of fair. big mistake. Still learning. I would love tips on how to hide those freckles. I like mine but I have more on my forehead because of where I live and I think they make me look older.
Thank you!! I"m a red head and I'm remedial with makeup-LOL!!! I'd love to know how to apply the eyeshadow-which color for which part of the eye and how much!!
Well I have combination skin and when I do put on foundation I looks really patchy or caked on. I really try to go for a natural look when it comes to my skin but it never turns out the way I would like. I have very fair pale skin with redness. What would you suggest?
Hey! Thanks for your question. I have a couple questions: Is your skin quite dry in the areas that aren't oily? Are you oily by the end of the day or in a couple of hours? Where does your foundation look patchy? Are you priming before you add foundation?
being a redhead is hard at times. I have no idea about makeup and trying to apply it. even when I get my eyebrows waxed (ouch and is swollen for a couple days) and tinted. would love to be able to do this on my own but I'm to nervous and scares to do it. I really need a friend who loves doing makeup and beauty lol.
Typical Irish: red hair, green eyes. BUT now I'm almost 60 (that hurt). My hair is not the vibrant red it used to be but you can still tell I'm a redhead. It has lightened considerably, I'm sad to say. I cannot find any tutorials that match me. They're all for the younger generation. Unfortunately RU-vid, and the Internet for that matter, wasn't around when I was their age. I wish you would do one or at least give me some suggestions. One thing to mention, my eye brows. I wear bifocals because I'm blind as a bat. I don't have contacts so doing them is a lost cause. Help if you can. Thank you.
hi! This may be a weird question but I'm a ginger as well and I was wondering if you put highlights in your hair? Your color is so pretty and I've been looking to try and add some dimension to my hair possibly by highlights.
Hey! Thank you for watching. And awe that's so sweet! I used to dye my hair with henna and then I got some blonde highlights put in the henna to lighten it and that is the colour it turned out lol. But I'm sure some copper highlights would do the same thing!
I’d love to know the price before signing up. I went to the link but it’s not available. I need everything your course offers but can’t afford a huge amount to learn.
I have a very prerry auburn dark red hair. I can never find a good shade of eye shadow. Altho i checked the color wheel and and opposite would be orange. Then i feel like i have too many orange and brown and white shades 😭
@samantha roythorne What shade of purple? I'm also more of an auburn red as I've aged and I have so many light pinks and browns, a green for something fancy. Every purple I've tried hasn't looked good.
Tell me them all gal! I know it can be different doing makeup for red hair. But with practice I know you can do it! Makeup is easy once you know what you're doing! The course is linked here: www.onlinemakeuplesson.com/courses/7-stepFormula . It'll walk you through finding your undertone as well! Is finding your undertone for redheads something you'd like to see for a video?
Everything, everything, everything! I never had anyone to teach me how to do makeup correctly (my mom never wore makeup either) and I have tried to figure it out and have failed miserably. I feel like giving up because every product I end up buying really doesn't work.
I’m a redhead with blue eyes and mascara has always been my problem. I want to get one that looks natural but is still visible. If that makes sense. I don’t want it to look clumpy any recommendations?
You look really tan. So I've never tanned in my life as a natural red head with freckles. Any tips on tanning? Do you fake tan or did you train your natural skin to tan? I heard the are ways to tan naturally as a red head but I'm scared to try and be in pain and look like a 🦞 lobster. Lol thanks in advance ❤️❤️
I'm a redhead with some redness in my skin. I've used foundation for light/fair skin to match it to the color of my neck, but I end up looking washed out and super pale in my face. How do you match foundation to your neck without your face looking extremely pale?
@@jule6624 Lovely! Anytime. I've been wanting to do best lipstick colours for redheads video for a while so this is exciting that you'd be interested in seeing it as well!
I have medium to dark red hair with brown eyes and my eyebrows are almost black (dark brown?). I just had strawberry blonde highlights put in my hair which I absolutely love. This of course, lightened my hair a lot but I still have the super dark, unnatural looking eyebrows. What should I do to get my eyebrows to match?
Hey April! Your hair sounds gorgeous! Could you send me a photo on Instagram of your hair and I'll give you a colour match. My instagram is @FaceByMeagan
My daughter has the same. Gold flecks around your pupils?? Beautiful!!!! Go check out the greens, browns and pinks. Try getting a palette with all three plus your highlighter and smoky colour. You WON'T be disappointed. I promise. Did your eyes begin blue then turn as you grew up too? Always confused me. Caroline, 37, 🏴✌🏻❤️
I have the hardest and rarest shape of natural red hair to get ( dark red brown natural hair ) I have brown eyes and my skin is super red and pale and white 😢 how can I look less red ? I look as a tomatoe … and my eyebrows are brown ( yes not all gingers we come in the same shape ) 😢 any advice ???
Would love to send you some of our Just for Redheads beauty products. Our mascaras are our top sellers. Message me and I’ll send them out for you to try.
There are several lines for redheads online . These are tips that are found or given by many makeup artists , Sephora or anyone in the business. Nothing new .
3:35 good tips I use sunscreen beauty country on backs of my hands 🙌🏼 use the sticks in your car 🚗 keep your hands lower on the wheel. Sunspots look bad when we’re old.
Oh my gosh that is so smart! I just had to do a couple rounds of IPL to get rid of my sundamage. Wishing I took better care of my hands! Let me know if you have any hand tips!
