When I heard the name Althea Laing, my mind went back immediately to Miss Jamaica Fashion model. Who knew Ms. Laing’s life was so chock full of all the info shared. In the spirit of the recently concluded World T20 competitions I have to remark that this is a superb innings! The power plays were evident and tactfully maximized. There can be no “washing out” of this interview from my minds, the balls of laughter bowled, the life nuggets batted and caught were not enough to get me out. There were fours of wisdom piercing the boundaries my mind challenging me to push the limits. Lest I got used to the scores of fours, Sixes of inspiration were in the air- a teacher, insurance executive, super model, entrepreneur, PR executive and mother. Is there really any cap to what a person can do? I’m leaving with the answer NO! I really wonder, are we ready for this season of Redirection with Terri- the podcast? Simply Put Terri you’re a star in the constellation (your team) and Althea (Madam) a worthy addition. Thank you for staying true to purpose! ❤

When I saw this interview I HAD to watch!!!! I met Althea as a child growing up... I was "supposed" to be taught self esteem awareness and grooming being sometimes the center of attention in my family... Well let's just say many many years later I'm a little rough around the edges, but a blossoming young leader learning to accept her curves... She is an inspiration. I met Althea years ago when I was a model for Saint's- teaching us etiquette skills and such. I am glad to hear her story especially leaving situation where you are not supported
I think this woman is absolutely stunning!!! As a dark girl I was so thrilled that someone who looked like me could win a contest and it hurt my core all the negative things people said about her back then! Everytime I see her I'm filled with such pride and admiration!
