I really dislike how towards the 90s they started bashing MJ & really hating on his evolution. I think the skin disease caused him to have blotches so that’s why he bleached his skin. It’s strange however if he had the skin disease why it didn’t emerge until after his ‘Off the Wall’ album.

To the rest of the world that may appear to be the case. Everyone remembers the 1980's material because of the edgy music videos and the mainstream media obession with Jackson. They now tend to mythologise his 1980's material because it is what the reading public want to relive. Sadly, because of the molestation allegations, they stay away from better 1990's music he produced. There is enough documentary material in his 1995 song "2Bad" for a documentary all of its own.

He actually gained fans. He lost the fans that casually listened but who cares. The fact of the matter is in the 90s he did more charity work.
