Great festival as usual, a lot of vendors and plants that are hard to find anywhere else. Hot and humid, exactly as it supposed to be in South Florida. The only gripe I have is that the festival was a bit more disorganized this time around. The organization was never great but it is getting worse over time. Parking that used to be free is now paid. Most of the tags- if you can even call them tags- on the Show Table are hard to read. They're just folded pieces of paper with text that you can barely make out. They don't have that many plants, it is not hard to make show labels. It seems like nobody really cares. Some vendors don't have nameplates, so you don't even know where they are from. There is a food court but no place to sit. Excuse me? In good old days they used to have plenty of chairs and tables. I am driving to get there for 4 hours one way and the only place to sit and eat is wet and dirty grass under your feet? Thousands of people are coming to Redland every year and it looks like the organizers think people will come regardless of how little they care.
