REDLINE HOT WHEELS RESTORATION - Redline Red Baron (enamel paint). Here at Diecast Resurrection we specialize in painting diecast model cars. In today's video I do a beautiful restoration on a 1974 Hot Wheels Red Baron. Ok well, I went a little beyond a normal restoration. This being an enamel painted model it isn't very valuable. So I decided up to an extra nice paint job for it. It turned out real nice. Have a look!

Beautiful! Austin, thank-you for this video. One of my favorites as a kid. Have one on the shelf in need of a resto. My Dad and I built the plastic model back in the early 70s...which I still have. Finally saw the real car this year at the Syracuse Nationals. My son was like, "Are you done looking yet?" 😄

Wow, love how this car came out. this is one of my 2 favorite cars from Hot Wheels. I had one for many years but got lost I have been looking for this one and the Paddy wagon from the 70s. I am in hope to hit some flea markets and antique stores to see if I can find them

Oh my. Wow that is such a beautiful color. I have a old Red Baron and was hoping to someday have it redone. I was think black with red helmet and then engine shined up with custom chrome rims. Something Different! Great job!!

Congrats on 100K. A beautiful job on this one. I would have preferred the pure blood red paint over the brown tinted. On screen it looks rootbeer to me. A stunner either way.

Happy 100k !!! Love that color !! I bought some junk yard lots off eBay awhile back. Had several of the red barons, paddy wagons, and Jack rabbit specials along with others. No wheels or axles. Congratulations on 100k !!!!

@@DiecastResurrection it's just that there are certain cars that I only expect to look good in Spectraflame, and the Baron is one of those. I've always been in awe of what you can do with paint, and I expected this one to look good...I didnt expect it to totally change my opinion that the Baron is ONLY supposed to be Spectraflame!!

I got a chance to see the 'real' red baron car, it's freaking awesome! It's at the Museum of Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was a T-bucket built in 1969.
