I have a red magic 7 pulsar and I gotta say, what an impressive phone indeed. Im able to play genshin at max settings but I have to advise anyone that you should also get the red magic 7 turbo cooler. It will help with the thermals since this phone can get very hot.
@@Ignite-Gamer at least I can play games anywhere even without fans or ac in a certain area and could play it for longer periods of time without fps drops and device overheating
Switched from BlackShark4 to RedMagic7 last month... Overall performance is better on RM7.. RM7 offer less feature, but less buggy compared to BS4 with more feature and more bugs in their software/UI.. Some areas where BS4 is much better compared to RM7 are battery life, wide angle camera, screen brightness(1300nits) and JoyUI features and advanced setting/configuration. So many things can be customized in JoyUI.. But im glad i switched to RM7, it gets the jobs done smoothly without needing me to twiddle with the phone settings first..
I got this phone. The only reason I got it is cause codm. Call of duty mobile is a game not for any kind of phone cause need a lot of battery lot of performance. Even this phone with the cooler system get overheating. My fingers feels like burning when I'm playing. Thanks to overheat gets laggy. So you need to adjust the settings to low resolution and low fps and that way works little better. To be honest I'm thinking to look for another option. If I got a super phone with high quality and high settings I'm gonna use it for what it is made. If not. What is the case??
we don't hate that it heats up the phone... 😂 we hate that it degrades the battery the faster and more cycles we put through it. meaning we have to replace it sooner unless we want to use our mobile plugged to a wall 😂
First off I would like to say I love the content that you put out so keep doing what you're doing second question is what Chinese phones work the best here in the US I live in Southern Utah St George. I would like to get a xiaomi phone I have a Asus rog older rog2 but it works great on my carrier which is T-Mobile but I noticed that my Poco X3 pro doesn't really get a good signal I miss calls sometimes. Anyway have a great day. DUBS4LIFE 🏀🏀🏀🏀
I would check the LTE and 5G bands for the phones. As long as they support T-mobile bands you should be good. I've been using this one, the Vivo X70 Pro+ and several others on my channel on T-Mobile. #DubNation
The phone is deadfuly bad, no equalizer for music, phone randomly decides to not use volume untill you reset. Phone reception is unfathomably bad ( not 1 good call EVEN THROUGH WIFI CALLING) Air triggers stay on if it has the smallest bit of sweat on them, doesn't like to turn sideways to play videos. And I can go. Currently seeking a faaat refund
Great looking phone, amazing specs, one of the worst operating systems I ever used. Buggy, glitchy, randomly overheats, battery killer. I you want a mobile games console then this is the phone for you, if you want a reliable smart phone... Take a wide birth and avoid it. I only owned mine for 6 weeks, very disappointed, sent it back and got a refund. Redmagic - never again, ever.
@@jasonbrewster828 actually, don't get me wrong. I'm watching this phone as an alternative to the 2-3 main brands selling their phones with their jacked prices. I'm so worried about the redmagic functionality as a smart phone that i still hesitate to make the move. I'm scrolling the review trying to find out how problematic it will be that i feel its a positive argument that reimbursement is an option. Nobody around me have an idea about this promising brand-phone. I agree with you that a smart phone should do its primary tasks before being a gaming device
this is an amazing device, a good overview of this model, the cooler really gives a boost in performance. I wonder when all the smartphones will start to build a cooler !?
I rarely comment on yt videos and I have to say out if all the videos I have watched to find info about this phone, your explained it the best. You covered everything important and I was super satisfied with the all important information being clearly highlighted on one video. It was very well done and I just want to thank you for making this video. But my question is regarding the reviews from multiple people this phone has a lot of bugs. Like wifi not working or calls not working, random heat ups, by having these bugs how does it effect the gaming performance how bad is it as a daily driver?
the good thing about legit gaming phones is that they are still a beast even after 3 or more years no matter how bad the os updates or optimization is.
Im thinking of buying this today ... this review really helps .. thanks man, I think I'll end up going for the one you have there, I think its 16gb. 256gb model with transparent case.
I got the red magic recently I wanted to ask have you faced calling issues with the phone its what problem I faced I couldn't make the calls properly through the microphone I would hear distorted voices but when I used the phone on speaker it was working just fine. So have you faced any issues as such on the main hardware of the phone unfortunately for me I had to return it. 😥
There have been 2 updates in the past week. I don't know if they are related to that issue but I can say mine has been fine using it on Metro PCS in the United States
They make some really solid hardware but their software policy is abysmal if you are thinking of using this for your daily phone. Well I say abysmal but they don't really have any stated software promise. Their 6 series did receive Android 12 surprisingly but after that I'd be shocked honestly
Genshin Impact doesn’t make much sense. All you do is run around. Then again I’ve only played for 5 min. Does anyone have any tips for enjoying that game? (iPhone PM 13)
I think you are not beign completely honest, dude the call quality on this PHONE is awful, the notifications may not even show up, ever!. And the limits on the apps you can use/install can't be forgiven in such device aimed to power users, even the lack of SD card reader is a major issue. A friend of mine had the 6 and the software and firmware never got any update. Awful phone, great gaming device but for that money you can get a tablet and get a better experience. Please improve your ethics on this kind of content, all the you tubers are reading the same script, be honest and people will gather around this Chanel more
First off, do not question my ethics on my channel without any real evidence. Sounds like your device isn't performing the same as mine, assuming you actually have it. Call quality on mine is perfectly fine. No idea wha's going on with yours, your service or your expectations. I mention no SD card support at the very beginning and again later in the review with guidance to get the storage option that they need due to this. How much this impacts each person is up to them. Sorry to hear about your friend, but that's not the 7 that's in this review. As mentioned in this review, I've received multiple updates since receiving the phone. Yes, it's a great gaming device as you mention, which is its primary focus. Getting a tablet is a lame argument, which can be applied to almost any phone review. If you want a tablet, then get a tablet and don't look at phone reviews. Some prefer gaming on their phone since it's easier to carry and it's almost always with them. Please improve your commenting ethics and research the channel before making baseless accusations, "dude". Really seems like you have misplaced anger at "you tubers" in general. If so, then maybe stop watching "RU-vid".
Bro, u sounds so toxic.. how can it be so bad like that. i just got red magic 7 transparent. it just perform so well. even more than my Rog5. maybe ur unit got damage or what. or maybe u heard it wrong. im using it more than rog5 now. red magic 7 is so great in performance.
