jacob thurston bro i have lived to see the conception of hip hop.3 decades of it.an artist and producer.40 years of experience has taught me this.you may find rappers who express the foundation of hip hop,but not like the artist of the early years.the years of using mpc's and sample machines are over.only traditional producers use them,as your jay dilla,q tip and a few others etc etc.the sound of hip hop has changed.it is what it is.new york had it first,west coast got it next now the south has its turn.it's not even debatable.i love it all,you have to grow and change with music.it's not even cool to dance to hip hop anymore how much it has changed.no more b boying and poppin n locking.those days are over.new york will have to reinvent themselves and come full circle.
