@@NikhilJha89 rubbish! This is a great phone for the price. What more do u want in a 12k 13k phone? If u think no amoled ,no stereospeakers and bloatware are deal breakers then i don't have anything to say
This time at 10999 price Xiaomi literally kills the market with this new Redmi 12 5G...i am happy with the price and also happy with the storage varient too... Getting 8/256gb at 15k approx.. That's nice move getting the vibes of Old Xiaomi of 2016-2019😎
This device would be a game changer for this budget. I'm also very happy Redmi providing snapdragon latest chipset in so budget phone. This reminds me old Redmi phones from 2016-19.
Ranjith Sir, is the LCD screen emitting blueish color too much, like we see in the video ? Feels like they are using a cheap quality screen to bring down the price point. AFAIK, LCD displays color accuracy has improved a lot in recent times.
Yeah I have cut dow a bit, only covering selected and imp device now that might make a difference, also I was un-well for last 3 weeks, still not fully recovered.
finally I watch smartphone review on this legend channel that in 11 years ago I watched Sony Xperia Miro review on this channel now has lots of channel smartphone review, but this legends is beast!
@@sohanthkumar6170 See the sample images which presented in this video, thats far ahead than previous models...Camera only not matters, the processor which produce the output matters...It's new snapdragon gen4...Wait and see...
Thank you RanjitJee. Covering budget phone and laptop is great in India because appreciable part of population can afford these. Honest creator like you takes care of them as well. Hat's off. Plz keep giving this type. Of review , bye
Please share your views on the following: 1. Is the screen good or it has some disadvantages? Max 550 nits is it good enough 2. Does this phone has a proximity sensor? If no, during calls it would probably cause issue because of unnecessary touch commands 3. Charger provided in the box is 22.5W whereas the phone support 18W fast charging. Would this cause heating issues/ hamper battery life? waiting for your in-depth video :) Your channel and reviews have always been of great help when buying new phones... Your videos are very professionally made and honest opinions. Please keep up the good work :)
When a phone is limited to a particular wattage of charging, it doesn't matter what wattage of charger you use. The phone is not going to draw more than the power it is certified with. So don't worry.
Low RAM will have noticeable change in response, app open close times, background app management while multitasking when compared with Higher RAM models. Hence Companies dont want the audience find those small niggles in the video even if the reviewer dont speak about that. Its all business. But Ranjit doesnt mask unlike others if he finds something that should be told.
I think they know that the 4GB varient is not gonna be able to keep up with the cpu so they don't send it. And they sell it partially for marketing, 5G phone at 11k, and partially for people who actually can't afford the upgrade.
@@MayankKumar-ch8pq Actually 4GB RAM is good and sufficient as of now for most of the consumers who use WhatsApp, RU-vid, Banking Apps, UPI apps and play small games/no games and occasional browsing. Problem comes when they use Browsers with lot of Tabs and RAM demanding sites coupled with other background apps. Also the phone will stutter if they go with big games which is obvious. The problem will become worse if they let more apps running in background and if they dont know to close at autostart level. 👍🏻
The Note 7 Pro was an awesome phone at its price point and I've used that phone for 4 years almost, now shifted to S20 FE 5G. But let me tell you something, they're giving good number of 5G bands at that rate so they had to compromise somewhere. And trust me, LCD displays aren't that bad at all, 90% of laptops come with an LCD display too, and LCD has less Strain on the eyes. I personally prefer AMOLED but wouldn't mind LCD in a budget phone if that means I get more than decent other hardware features.
Perfect smartphone for parents with less tech knowledge but has the latest features. Will wait for some time for durability and stability issues (considering NP2 issues that has surfaced up recently despite being flagship phone and the only phone Nothing had to focus as it was their latest offering)
Your parents worked hard through out their life & raised you, on otherhand you give them this crapy " E-Waste". come on dude they deserve better phone!
@@LazyEngineerYT My parents have OP5T and OP9. The only thing they do on is maybe binge watch through YT shorts or spend some time on WA. Their SoT is extremely low bcz they never grew up with smartphones. Heck, they find it hard to use their current flagships because its too much for this. IDK if this new phone is e-waste level crap. So that's why I said I'll wait until any fcuked up issues surface onto the internet for me to reconsider my choices. But yeah, I actually wanted to buy Asus Z9 or Z10 bcz of how handy and best SoT it has, despite its small form factor, but Asus said they can't sell those phones in India as there's a brand that is a blocker for them to sell phones with "Zenfone" in the name. Soooo yeah 😂🥲
Checked Mi website, it lacks the n77 band which is relevant in India. Even the Samsungs initially omitted the n77 band since it had the n78. Now there is some overlap between these bands. However, its worth noting since Xiaomi is making a big song and dance about connectivity.
Jio and Airtel are both primarily using 78, and other than that support 1,3,8,258 so lack of 77 really isn't going to be an issue for a majority of people. Many phones don't support it and have no problem using 5G.
how well does proximity sensor performs ? and what about the cellular call quality and call drop issues. My father has redmi note 10 but it has terrible call drop and proximity issue. just wanted to know if i can upgrade it to this phone
Even I was thinking the same, as I and my relatives have faced such issues with Redmi and Redmi note series phones in the past. This brand focus only on specs and looks, and does not care about intangible but important things such as software optimization, network reception, hardware quality (like display, speaker), etc.
They should make budget smartphone with just one good camera. Just like iPhone SE done, no gimmiks. It's good to know that this phone has better modem than SD 888 phones
I have been a redmi user for past 3 years and the kind of hardware they give with their product is commendable and is actually very reliable but they do lack in the display department, always underplaying in terms of display specs, and the obvious bloatware that comes with MIUI is a big deal breaker
The phone looks good, the back case which is made of glass, I always wonder does it not break if the phone falls down or get scratch marks( if case cover not used)? Front camera 8mp? I wonder why did they did not go with higher mp.. even iPhone given 12mp standard through out theirs series. Does front camera click photos like iPhone? 2mp rubbish for what?? We don't even use it at all. We don't mind having single camera with higher megapixel. Talking abt the proce point I heard it's goes upto 18k rupees. Overall phone is good. Does it support gaming ie cod or pubg or just small game? If it support Does it heat too much???
Ranjit sir, you missed the most important aspect regarding a redmi/poco phone i.e; the warranty. Are they providing 2 year warranty like they do in poco segment. It is very difficult to trust redmi nowadays. My redmi note 11 had motherboard problem within 3 months of purchase. What if redmi 12 too has such problems? The service centre guys may reject waranty citing small scratches on mobile. Please address such issues cuz thousands see your reviews and buy mobiles. Iam one of those trusted followers. Please address those grievances while making videos 😊
Hi Ranjit, I've been your follower for quite a long time now, just wanted to ask why have you stopped posting videos on your other channel? Used to love that biking and auto content
does ram really play big part? the 4 GB with updated processors will get work done??? please advice. My redmi 7 (launch version) is still running great with nearly no lag with all necessary utility application
Just got this phone today. Its amazing, does everything I need it to do and more. 5g connectivity is good. It was heating up, but when I was downloading non stop all my apps into it. Battery usage is good at 5g, got rid all the recommended apps and bloatware, super clean now. Won't be playing games on this phone as I have a dedicated gaming tablet and a gaming PC.
My golden rule is to never trust xiaomi ever. Ranjit used to critize them about their obsolescent ads, buggy miui and a special mention, dead motherboards. Sad to see him promoting such a company.
